2 good strikers to have but an injury to either of them and we're buggered. A 3rd recognised striker or known goal scoring wide player is essential due to the lack of goals in the rest of the team.
I'm (very) happy with Kane as our 3rd choice. I'm not happy with Ade and Bobby as 1 & 2 tho.

I like Kane too but it's a hell of a lot of responsibility/pressure to put on his young shoulders if we have to rely on him. I agree re Ade & Bobby, personally for me it's Ade that needs replacing.

Yeah and Kane would really be far better off playing regularly on loan with a lower PL club if we could sort it. At his age he needs to gain experience and the only way to do that is to play regularly

3rd choice isn't really a lot of pressure, he's 21 now, if we don't trust him now, after what he's done last year, when are we gonna do it ?

Kane needs to given his chance now and a decision must be made. It took years to finally decide that Danny Rose was crap.

I think he's good enough but an injury to Ade or Bobby and all of sudden he'll be our 2nd or 1st choice striker. I just don't think it's fair on him to expect and need him to deliver. Ideally Ade and Bobby will stay fit and Kane will provide good support/learn his trade step by step and not thrown in at the deep end.

I guess you aare all on the wrong track.

"69" clearly is the hint to start with.

Turn it around and you land at the german club Hannover 96. The only one with italian connections here is Felipe. He is centre back = needed.

But he is pretty shite and always injured. Bad business.

A CB that is always injured?.....sounds like he would fit in with our traditional CB stockpile

He almost was a starter at the end of last season, I'm sure he can manage it. Sterling is a starter at Liverpool since he's 18. We have a trust issue with our youngsters.

A like that ITK from JJ.

For a couple of reasons - i like Remy and think he would be a sound and solid purchase for us. However, JJ's ITK suggests we could be aiming higher than Remy which i take as a big positive.
Such touching innocence. You've not been around here long then.

Mind you I still ive in the hope that the unnamed LB from AliZ's itk yesterday is Ricardo Rodriguez. I can fool myself as well sadly.

Bore da everybody!

Last night Mrs A&C walked into the bedroom to find me dressed in a Gladiator outfit.

"You fucking idiot!" she sighed, "I said I wanted more ROMANCE in our relationship."

Then, earlier this morning she was having a go at me and asked, "On a scale from 1-10 how childish are you?"

"69" I said and ran off giggling.

"69" = soixante neuf = Sn = tin = ? dead end....
"69" = oral pleasure = OP = Oscar Pretorious =Murdered (allegedly) Reeva Steencamp = RS= Roberto Soldado
So RS runs off giggling means Soldado is off. Anyone know a good therapist?

Looks like he's way down the list. Which is good to hear.

Agreed, i mean why on Earth would we want a striker who has scored more than a goal a game in the PL. I mean fourteen goals in twenty six starts, with two as sub?

Just not good enough.

Assuming we play a formation with one striker, 2 good strikers and only a few injuries, and the 3rd striker may not play that much - but I'd like toi think Poch would ensure Kane giot enough time on the pitch to show how he can do (and with the 3 goals in the last 7 games and game v Hull I think he deserves the chance to show that form was not a one off).

Bigger risk imo is the 2 main strikers - I think Poch can assess whether he can manage Adebayor in pre season and act accordingly, but the unkown is whether he can get Soldado scoring regularly again.

In terms of AM's/support strikers, we have lots of choice of which Erikssen looks the best after last seasons form, but then can Poch get Lamela, Siggurdsson, Holtby, Townsend et al to perform consistently at a high level both scoring a few goals each and providing assists to the main strikers. So that's the other big risk I see.

Poch needs time in pre-season to make assessments - and a few games, not sure whether last seasons match videos will help that much with suspect tactics being played for most of that season.
