Don't know if I'm posting in the right section but a poster who used to post here (lookslikemodric) has said.

Both obika and prichard (alex) looks like there on the way out with a 600k and a 900k deals on the table for both.
If the Pritchard deal happened (I highly highly doubt it), I bloody hope we'd put a buy-back clause into the contract

Surely Pritchard won't be allowed to leave, and certainly not for £900k.

He was shortlisted for the football league 'young player of the year award' and has a bright future a ahead of him.
We just need to try and get him a loan move to a Burnley or someone and hopefully it will be the making of him, as was Bolton for Wilshire.

Not a championship club imo. A loan to a team like Hull would be great, Championship team wouldn't improve him, it's too physical imo.

Depends on his contract situation. It seems he's only got a year on his current deal. If he's been offered one and turned it down, then we've got little option but to try and get a fee really.

Pritchard leaving was being rumoured in January too - Wolves and Wigan were 2 of the clubs he was beiung linked with and a fee of £1m being bandied about.

He has 1 year left on his contract, so he could be off, but the £1m would I'm sure be just the base fee wioth add ons and a buy back clause in it.

I'd thought Pritchard had signed a new contract with us just last season after rumours he wanted to leave due to a lack of opportunities for him at the club. You would expect him to feature more prominently for us this season after Tim begun introducing him to the first team toward the end of last season.

Juventus interested in paulinho according to the telegraph. £20 million is too good to turn down. Could be a reason for our interest in schneiderlin?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...m-Hotspur-and-Brazil-midfielder-Paulinho.html

Juventus are making a £20 million bid to sign the Brazilian midfielder Paulinho fromTottenham Hotspur.

The move is expected to pave the way for Arturo Vidal to leave the Italian champions although Manchester United, who have strongly been linked with the 27-year-old, deny they are close to agreeing a deal for the Chilean international.

I'd rip their fucking hand of and take Paulinho on my back to Turin if they want to pay that much for him.

I've a funny feeling JJ doesn't necessarily know as much as half this board thinks he does.

Or at least people ask him stuff on twitter, he doesn't necessarily know so gives an educated guess.
5 minutes later it's reported back here as 'near gospel'.

Shhhh don't speak bad of the jj man he is a god around here

Last info I had (from Alex himself) is that he had agreed a contract to June 2015.

If signed a new contract I'd expect him to be playing in the first team squad, at least in pre-season, but I'd expect him to have been offered a new contract by now and if he didn't sign it....we need to sell.

Why are people getting so worried about Pritchard? None of our young players are ever good enough..with the exception of Ledley king I struggle to remember any success stories coming through the academy, this is something I hope poch and his team massively improves

Caulker was sold for £9m, Livermoore £6m, Townsend has played for England. Kane, Rose and Bentaleb are all in the first team squad. We have not produced the next Messi, but that is not a bad return.

His agent says he has signed a pre-contract.. Do we believe the agent is the question

I understand he cannot sign a contrat until he's 18 - and he';s 17 now

According to FIFA.com and transfermarkt.co.uk his birthday is 16th December 1997, which makes him 16. Apart from the obvious 1 year younger and a year longer until he can sign a contract, I don't know if makes any other difference.

Not bad is a fair assessment, but we need better than that, caulker Livermore and Kane are not gonna make the grade, we want players that have a future here not players who will be developed by us to go to a mediocre prem/champ side. I'd expect a big focus on this area

Lets put this in perspective. Sheringham at Kanes age was struggling to get into the Millwall team. Zidane at Bentalebs age was playing for Cannes. Not saying that they will rech those heights but it is a bit quick to write them off.

Developing young players is a long term business

Spurs Academy was totally overhauled almost 10 years ago - but the first players to have benefited from that werre the year group which included Caulker and Townsemd.

Over the next few years we'll see many more gradates come through - and will see how many are good enough for Spurs or other clubs, so you'll have to wait for a few years to make a judgement

He's been posting in english alot recently and the posts this summer have been a mixture of only spanish and spanish followed by English. Some only english in there as well. There is nothing to read into him going back home, IMO. He's probably there to visit his wife and his newborn child for the weekend. Its probably the only time he's able to do it for quite a while. Preseason gets into full swing after this weekend.

Newborn child? I'm pretty sure i remember at some point last season he said his wife suffered a miscarriage?
