My opinion added to info above, I can’t see it myself. But you never know. Still talking to Betis, opinion again. I feel they want to set up their incoming deals off of what they get from us, before giving the ‘ok’. At least I hope so.

Betis bit makes sense, much like us with the Bale sale. They won’t receive this type of windfall often and a few million saved here and there on incoming transfers means a lot for them.
Yep I just said the same thing in a conversation with my brother about who we may sign. It would be entirely logical that Betis want to get their incoming business tied up before publicly declaring they’ve received a major windfall for GLC.

What I don’t understand re CE and certain clubs like Juve not “paying us what we want” is how we have a strong hand here. If he genuinely wants to go to them then I would assume the risk of leaving on a free would work against us unless we are confident in the historic info that he was only interested in the top Spanish clubs and would sign a new deal otherwise
