If we don't sign Lo Celso this window he will be the "Isco" for years to come. Now is our chance and we shouldn't risk missing out imo.

Strange example for Isco, I don't think he ever really became the player he was supposed to be. No end product and he's 27 already, I don't really mind missing him. Chris and Dele have been great for us.

As for GLS, he might turn out good but if we can keep Eriksen that would be my top priority. Our second best player in the Poch era after Kane, world class, knows the system/league/squad. He's miles ahead of GLS now. Yeah would have been nice to have both, but paying ~70m for essentially an Eriksen backup is ridiculous, we're not Manchester City.

I'm rather gutted about Lo Celso. Despite never having seen him 'live", the opinions of those in here far more knowledgeable than me, have convinced me on him.
I honestly believe he's what we need, so I'm clinging to the earlier itk that we're after both he and Ndombele!

Fantastic ITK. I would have thought Zaha was a no no based on CP wanting an exhorbitant fee. Interesting to see Poch is driving this one.

I'd imagine Eriksen will have some 'exit' clauses if he signs another deal, in which case missing out on LoCelso will be a huge mistake IMO.

If Lamela was sold it would also add space for Lo Celso, it maybe not be Eriksen related but space related.

Lamela needs to be sold anyway. Stopped developing and contributes too little. I don't think he ever truly settled over here. A move back to Italy would be best for all concerned.

shame about lo celso, like others have pointed out. eriksen needs someone to push him etc, but with the 60/70/80 million price lo celso would probably cost, can see why we arent happy to sanction a deal if eriksen is staying put, hopefully we have a cheaper plan "B" that can also push him.

So Ali Z thinks it might be Bale, personally I think that is more likely and cheaper than Zaha!

Barnett is obviously working hard on the Bale situation this summer and I'm sure Levy is in regular contact. Unless Zidane has a change of heart he has to end up somewhere, why not us?

Seeing as Betis supposedly want upwards of 70m for Lo Celso, I'm not overly surprised we're not pursuing him too heavily. Realistically we're not City, we can't have someone of that quality/ price tag riding the bench. If we're going for a top class forward instead then it's not too bad, although I obviously still would've liked Lo Celso.

After deathly silence there is so much ITK to consider. Perhaps cooling on Lo Celso is more about this possible surprise signing (Zaha or Bale) since either will take a lot of money. Very happy if we get the Sess boys as well as Clarke after tying up Ndombele. Personally I think Lo Celso is more needed than either of the two mentioned

I thought JJ had previously indicated that Lo Celso was definitely on, maybe that was dependant on Eriksen's situation or maybe I just made it up, either way we should be adding Lo Celso and keeping Eriksen imo...

Toby possibly staying would be excellent news. At this point even if he ends up leaving on a free it's worth 1 more year.

Lamela does need to be moved on as much as I like him. Simply can't rely on him.
