Just on Hercs update, I'd have said it'd be Serge that they look to move on. More athlete than footballer, thought it was telling he was subbed last night at half time aswell.

My money is on Trippier; his family know my other half’s family rather well (his mum works in their local Londis, if anyone is ever passing through Bury and needs a pint of milk) and they’ve been adamant for a few months that he’s moving to Manchester.

I think this Batshuayi stuff will come down to how desperate Chelsea are to move him on. If Batshuayi is refusing to move to anywhere but us, and we’re refusing to buy him for £40m, Chelsea will have to cave in or keep an unhappy player in an already poisonous dressing room.

I doubt one more poisonous snake in that club would change anything, they still wouldn’t sell to us.

Batshuayi has been dreaming about the day he can go to a team with Serge. The only way to get people to stop calling him batshit is to stick him on a team with someone who's actually batshit. Too much confusion to keep using that as his nickname.

Batshuayi is a decent enough player but he almost knocked himself out celebrating a goal by kicking the ball in joy against the post only for it to rebound hard into his face.

For that reason alone, I’m out.
