I do believe that there was money. I think that there is no point in Poch taking any old player otherwise we'll only end up in the same situation of not being able to offload them in a couple of seasons time. I get that Poch has a particular level of player in mind and won't settle for less. My only question is why our scouting network, which I assume is pretty decent, can't find one or two options at least given the amount of players that there must be available worldwide. Am I being too simplistic in my thinking?

Like it or not Dembele has been replaced by Winks and Sissoko. De Jong and Rabiot didn't work out so Poch is keeping his powder dry for the next 3 months.

Time will tell if it was a mistake. I'll be watching Tielemans progress closely
