Why on earth would he go there. He's better than the LB's at 14 of the teams in EPL, 17 of the teams in la liga, and about the same in serie A

But that's the nub of BAE's psyche. One club is the same as another.

BAE is far from a mercenary. Rather than hold him to comments he made a number of years ago when he was young, look at what his actual character has been like since he's been with us.

He is the complete anti-thesis of a footballing mercenary. How many money grabbers spend 6 years at one club?
