Naughton is great backup at RB for mine and did an Ok-ish job at LB considering he's not a LB. I do like the look of Fryers though. Big bastard and actually a better footballer than I realised in his little cameo against Tblisi. If AVB is fine with giving him time in the cups instead of loaning him out to get experience then Ok by me.

Yep, I thought Fryers was very good in pre season and if he was put in the team I'd be confident that he wouldn't let us down through being stupid or anything like that. If we've let BAE go though, I can deffo see someone else coming in within the next hour.

But it's literally ridiculous to suggest that. He's a right-footed CB new to the league playing him out of position in a position very few players play inverted is batshit insanity.

I'm not a big fan of Rose, even though I think he has some potential. I just think Vlad, from what I've seen and heard of him, might make a decent go of it. He's very comfortable on the ball, pretty quick and agile for a big guy and he's shown he can defend. Of course not having a quality left footed natural left back is not ideal, but I'd rather give him a go.

If you want to carry onthe debate I'm happy to do so in another forum.
