Have a funny feeling a few members share our sentiment regarding Chicarito, I'd love to see him in a lilywhites shirt and being 2nd choice here is better than being 4th choice at United.

Moyes won't give this lad the chances he deserves and I believe he is one of few worldie strikers that is still relatively "under the radar".

The sale of GB that we probably all somewhat expected, but still hoped wouldn't happen, coupled with the NLD, has probably left a portion of the fans feeling a bit under.wellemed

The ITK that we're after a 45m £ player, just sounds a little bit too familiar, and it wouldn't surprise me if we only ended with a few outgoings today.

After all we've had an amazing window, even with the loss of Bale, and if we are really to have a clear net spend, it might just get even better today, though i can't really see which 45m £ player is available, maybe other than Özil, and it wouldn't surprise me if Real were demanding top dollar for him, after we stood fast on our valuation of GB. Actually i would be pretty pleased if only the goons doesn't get him.

Here's to hoping we'll all be pleasantly surprised come 11pm british time

Agree LWF is what we need, not overly impressed at the moment with Chadli on the left, also think Lamela should of replaced him yesterday, and should of kept Townsend on the pitch...my onion we need more pace on the left

I'm not gonna be too quick to jump on Chadli's performances so far this season I feel he has done enough to justify playing in our squad, however he is not good enough just yet to completely own the first team LWF spot. We could do with more pace and creativity here whilst Chadli gets up to speed and then as rotation for the first team between cup/league games. I can't stress enough that EVERY player currently in our squad is good enough to either be first team or to fill a spot on the pitch where needed. Versatility is the key here and once we find out what Chadli's abilities are we can judge his performances and so forth. I want a completely different LWF though so If we need to mix it up we can at any time during the season.

I don't expect any significant incomings. I just hope we don't let Ade or Defoe go without a replacement. If we do we've dropped a massive bollock. Same goes for Lennon imo. Too many people are ready to just discard him on the basis that Townsend has improved and we've signed Lemala. We need Lennon's pace on the break and its only when he's not there that you realise what he brings. Keep him and let him fight for his place and we may see him up his game further.
