Is anyone actually out doing any ITK whoring? Would be amazed if there isn't more out there considering it's deadline day.

Generally though, with it being this quiet I think we might have a pretty relaxed afternoon transfer wise.

I don't want a relaxed day. I want Spurs intrigue, I want to hear the words "have spurs done it again" and "transfer coup for Tottenham". I'm used to getting what I want this window now so shape up FB, AVB and DL and pull out a little sneaky sneaky....

I think people are happy with what we have done but with yesterday's events and our neighbours actions today it isn't surprising that people are hurting.

Maybe we should have announced the big two today(Eriksen and Lamela)

1 or 2 more additions would be great. A LB would be great and we need a 'big' Llorente/Dzeko/Benteke type striker.

If we don't get those 2 in I won't be devastated as our business this season has been phenomenal.

This international break is a pain in the arse as most of our new players will be off and probably won't return until the following Thursday. We're lucky that next 3 matches are Norwich, Tromso and Cardiff, hopefully giving us enough time to 'Gel' before our match with Chelsea

Might have given it away by Lamela playing yesterday though!

Delaying Eriksen until today would have made sense, but perhaps there's more to come. Who knows!

Coentrao looking very unlikely now as Real Madrid have just loaned Denis Cheryshev to Sevilla. He's mainly a left winger but can also cover at LB. Might have been an option for us (he's looked decent for the Russian U21's scoring 7 goals in 18 matches and had an even better record at younger age divisions) but I guess we want someone more experienced.

This is why ITK can be very dangerous.

People are sitting here 'expecting' a 45m signing, even though everything said that it was very hard to do and quite unlikely. It makes people think that a window has been disappointing, even if it has actually been excellent.

I just hope that by the end of it we focus on what we have signed, rather than the hypothetical situations that haven't come to pass.

I would be happy with any left-back who can put in a decent cross. Rose has looked exceptionally weak in the final third in our first three league games. I really wish we could've negotiated for Coentrao to be included in the Bale deal, as he would be worth 8-10 points over the course of the season. He has a fantastic ability to penetrate into the opponent's half and can both dribble very well, and pass with accuracy. He would've been an added dimension of the much vaunted creativity many crave.
I wonder if we can figure something out with Roma for Balzaretti still. I think they're a bit thin at the back too, so that deal probably isn't likely.

It really is very very quiet. Nothing from any of the main ITK's that we see on here like POTL or JJ. Maybe the Willian stuff has put transfer info on lock-down today?

You think we'll be gushing out info after Willian and especially on deadline day? IF there is a £45m signingm, I doubt we'll hear anything from the media until the evening at least for it to be the late drama. As for ITK updates, I'd suggest the club is on serious lockdown. Latest updates have listed no names other than Benzema, Cresswell and outgoings.

I'm pretty sure avb has got all his targets except coentrao. Doesn't look as if that one will happen...
