Another player like Eriksen you say? Hey, Germany seem to have some talent these days. Let's see if there's a young attacking CM over there we could sign...

There was one but it appears he got snapped up by some forward thinking team in January.

Chadli = dead end.

Lennon = dead end.

Chadli + Lennon + Lamela = 2 dead end and 1 uncertain output.

Lamela + Townsend + Draxler/Griezmann means 3 uncertainty, but 3 uncertainty means at least 1 or 2 could be reasonablly expected as valid solution.

What a shit poster you are.

No offense.

Regardless of who we've brought in so far, we're still a goalscorer and a full back short IMO.

With all the deals we've done, it's unacceptable to still have holes in the squad this late on deadline day.

I imagine our business is all done but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Apart from Bale going we haven't sold any goalscorers, and we've signed a superstar goalscorer in Soldado, great goalscorer in Lamela and players that have scored plenty for their clubs in Eriksen, Chadli, Paulinho, and, back from loan, Townsend. We need to click and gel, but there should be plenty of goals in our current squad..

Unbearable in here - we seem to have acquired some very spoilt, unrealistic and morinic fans in the past few years.
Unfortunately, you seem to be right. "I want it all and I want it now and if I don't get it I'll shout and scream and boo the team. I deserve it and I have to have it."

Fuck me I thought I could be pessimistic at times.
Some of you guys need to support another team.

Try being a West Ham, Stoke or Palace fan among many.

I simply cannot believe that some people are moaning because we appear to have broken even financially in this window.

The transfer window is all about improving the playing staff at the club, not about the money that has been spent. We have certainly done that, and the club statement questioning Bale's commitment to the forthcoming season confirms what we all suspected and means that selling him was the right decision.

Whingeing about how we should have spent 20, 30 or 50 million more is, frankly, fucking stupid. We should all be pleased that we have had such an amazing transfer window with minimal net spend.....or would you rather that we were saddled with huge debt repayments for the next few years that prevented further squad improvement and made it more difficult to build the new stadium?

A-fucking-men!! People saying, "we've only spent/invested £2mil" or "we've not spent a penny" etc etc.. How the living fuck have we only spent £2mil? How have we only invested £2mil? How can they not realise that our 'investment' is in excess of £100mil? Or did all of our players come for a combined £2mil? Are they not aware that EVERY player in our whole club is "an investment"?

You know what? Some people need to grow up & be fucking grateful that our club, our board & Mr Levy, decided to pump that £100m+ back into the squad. IF they were as unambitious as some people have continued to make out all fucking day long, they'd have pocketed every god damn penny of the Bale money and sat back and watched the team these people claim to 'support' crumble & whither before your eyes.

Unbefuckinglievble!!

Did we get things done the right way around? Getting the great news of 3 signings announced on Friday and then selling Bale on Sunday. Maybe we should have done the 3 signings today to end on a high note. A bit like David Brent announcing everyone is getting made redundant but then lifting them all by announcing his promotion.
