They have just funded the Bale deal while getting a world class player.
I bet they are laughing their tits off at us. Thanks for your special relationship Madrid, now f**k off.

You got the wrong idea my friend, this is business, we can't control who they sell, in the case of Bale, who they sign and for how much! I wouldn't want us to buy someone with the idea that we couldn't sell someone, and more to the point you couldn't legally include it any deal. Be happy we got what we wanted, and leave the rest to everyone else.

People like to list off all the signings we've made and in the same breathe, fail to mention we have lost Gareth Bale - the third best player in the world, our leading goal scorer, a proven match winner.

I would trade the Lamela and Eriksen signings for Ozil.

Ozil is a proven 20+ Assist a season player. I hope Eriksen turns into that, but he hasn't managed more than 5 in a season so far.

Fair enough but we are not a champions league club and they are. Considering that we have done amazingly well to get the players we have.

We have bought very well... BUT Kyle walker and Danny rose are not fucking good enough... They wouldn't get anywhere near any of the top fours sides... This will kill us in our quest for top 4. And nobody tell me fucking naughton is good enough either... Dogshit

With the exception of Chelsea I don't think our full backs are much worse than any of the other top sides in England. Yeah a new left back would be great, but I wouldn't be going into meltdown just yet. Assuming Rose doesn't cost us fourth place between now and January then we can do business then should AVB not deem him good enough

I have to say seeing the balance sheet is somewhat disappointing. Made a profit and didn't kick on. Had 40m TV money 50m JL loan plus 85m from Bale.

We just need a quality lb and lwf to challenge for 3rd. Leaving it till jan may cost us 4/5th a BIG shame from me I'm afraid

I bet Arse have well overpaid on the transfer fee and wages for Ozil.

I bet our signings are better value long term and we've reduced our risk to a long term injury.

All on budget as we start our new stadium which will be better than the Goons (plus we already have a better training ground).

I will give Levy stick if necessary but he's played a blinder #wellhappy

And i'd like to trade my boyfriend in for Ryan Gosling. It's irrelevant what we want - he'd never have signed for a non-CL club. We have done damn well to sign Lamela and Eriksen considering our status in football.

It's so frustrating to see people whinging on because of circumstances completely beyond our control. We've done brilliantly. Why feel the need to pick holes in it?

Let's hope they can gel quickly then. Because Arsenal looked far more dangerous than us... Without the best assist machine in the world.

Did they? For once I wasn't actually bricking a hiding.

When we click and get some frigging service to Soldado with Eriksen and Lamela in the side - I think we'll be pretty tasty.

So lets all calm down over a day that is all about viewing figures anyway.

I look forward to the day when one of the Sky reporters snaps and beats some of the fans senseless with their microphone.

Precisely.

We're so close to being a force in the league.

It's a bad situation at FB, indeed. We'll need to just score more than we concede.

Need kaboul back to full fitness asap and need to get chiri up to speed. At least the top of the spine will be ok then.

Reality check guys, Ozil would never have come to us. Like it or not, Arsenal qualify for the Champions League every year, Wenger is an attraction as is the style of football the scum play. We're not quite there yet in terms of attracting a player already at that level, but we will be, very soon.

Keep. The. Faith.

Better than them getting a world-class player at a position of actual need.

No doubt we had a great window, but we are worse today than we were yesterday.

To let our best LB go out on loan due to personality clashes with AVB is absurd.

What do you know?
Only what everyone else does. Great young coach, 7 signings, 5 of which are absolute top quality right out of the box players. We have quality all over the park.

Except Danny Rose. He's sub-human scum, or so I'm lead to believe.

Even that devil spawn in our ranks doesn't dampen my enthusiasm.

Engorged.
