WTF just happened? I'm happy with Sissoko - less happy with then fee but thats the new world I guess. I think he will be very, very useful for us.

I was actually really content about the transfer window up until this Sissoko stuff. I just don't see it for £30m, and considering at £30m we probably could've gotten a better player elsewhere. Just not a fan of how physical presence and athleticism seems to be deemed more important than skill.

If we offered Isco a one sixth of that money as a sweetener I bet he'd soon declare spurs as his boyhood club

Sometimes you've gotta be trixie to sign the best

For me the only issue is his consistency one game he's great the next 5 poor. Poch has sorted that out with Dembele and Walker, so it's a case of trusting him I think IF we get it over the line.

And failed miserably with Ade.........

Everton. Withdrawn interest. It's like you get dumped by your girlfriend but you tell your mates you dumped her

If it's what Poch wants, then fine. But, the links to him and Zaha, if that's the type of player Poch wants, are a little concerning for me.

Zaha and Sissoko arguably both have the raw materials to be great players. Seemingly it's winning mentalities that they lack.

Poch clearly believes he can instill that mentality in players and arguably has worked wonders with several of our squad already (Walker, Rose, Dembele etc).

I would've been happy with Zaha too but Sissoko joining is good news surely.

SSN - Everton withdraw interest in Sissoko.

That's what happens when that player signs for another club. On a similar note, I've withdrawn my interest in Beyoncé.

He's signed now. Stop moaning. He's an extra body with quality that Poch feels he can bring out, starter for his national side who have some of the best midfielders in the world.

It's not (directly) our money and it's paid in all kinds of installments so just support the bloke
