L'Equipe - It's good, everything is set for Moussa SISSOKO to Tottenham. Formalization in the next few minutes

That's the difference between a great window and an average one.

The AMC was imperative in my book.
It's still necessary, no doubt, but this signing still puts pressure on Eriksen to perform. Lamela can slot in as the playmaking AM, and Sissoko is an absolute beast out on the right. If any of the first choice AMs see their form drop Sissoko will be breathing down their neck.

Sky trying to placate Everton fans by saying they've got Enner Valencia from West Ham.... Yeah, like that's going to help them - he's been shit this season, and West Ham fans couldn't wait to see the back of him (oh wait, that's like Newcastle/Sissoko)
Sissoko will surprise a lot.

can play variety of position, eye for goal, pace, strength. and poch will get him working hard. £30m is just todays crazy fee but hey everyone has been on the crazy money spree, why not spurs.

I think a lot of people are going to be eating their words on this guy. Think Pochettino will have him.performing consistently and he'll tear it up.

Looking forward to the back tracking.
Failing that I'll get called up for being way off the mark on it.

Honestly think he'll be fantastic for us.

I think you will be right on this one, I think he will win over a lot of people very quickly.

He's a good player, the only part I don't understand is...

Over all the years that we have had the opportunity to spend £30m on a player, why is it only Moussa Sissoko that's made the cut? What is special about him?

Likes Erik Lamela, deal with it.

Simply because he is the player Poch wanted.

Levy supports poch 100% and will give him what he wants. Fair play to Levy tbh.

A massive increase in TV money is the answer. Just look how much all clubs are spending on players.

Is relative to the tv money kicking around this season,

Because that's the inflation in the market. In today's world of transfer fees it's cheap!

Let's get a bit of perspective here, Sissoko looked an average player around very below average players at Newcastle yet he looked a world class player at the euros surrounded by world class players, I think he will be good in our nearly world class team plus with poch training him he will be a great player in time, let's break the mould for a change and get behind the player and the club and also keep in mind once the new stadium arrives we can then challenge for the Isco's and Bales of the football world.

He didn't look average at Newcastle. He looked like he could and did games single handedly.
