I think deep down none of us are all that surprised with how it ended up.

At least we have a very good Starting XI (when healthy/not suspended) and a pretty good bench. Our rivals that sucked last year have undoubtedly bolstered their squads and managers. We just have to hope the young players we have can improve off their 15/16 season.

When JJ said we were 'busy busy' I wonder if he was referring to the on going saga of NKD lol or we were firing out bids for players which where nowhere near the sellers valuation!!

@JJetset normally pops by with a dose of realism if there is nothing going on towards the end of the window from memory, to put us out of our misery...?

I think the fact that he is saying one thing and everyone else is saying something else suggests Ali Z's source isn't right on this one.

I agree but can't see any of them being ready enough to replace Dembele when he is injured/suspended. Hope he can stay healthy like Kane last season.

If this season we clinch 4th place Poch is the new messiah with the squad he has at his disposal compared to the usual top clubs that have strengthened like hell. Even the usual teams of evertons stokes palaces have added significantly. We live in hope.
