He would be a good, can burst a defense open from nothing, something we need at the moment

I'll take Sissoko if the fee is reasonable. He was brilliant in the Euros and we know he's wanted out of Newcastle for a while. If Poch can get him to keep his Euro form with us, it could be a decent signing. Hope we bring in a real quality AM along with him though.

The only up side about Sissoko is that it may free Lamela up to play as a true 10. And give us some options on the right, where we look a bit limited.

Sissoko is a good player. I know he occasionally looks like a donkey but all players look shit sometimes. He has so much power and can take us up the pitch like dembele does.

Not sure how I feel about this. We desperately need someone creative to unlock defences, Sissoko doesn't really do that. Powerhouse though and if he can replicate his Euros form then he'd be a great signing but there's a reason Newcastle fans don't like him even before he wanted to leave....

He's not a bad player, I just can't get excited by him. What we lack desperately is final third quality, Sissoko isn't going to bring that.

I'd feel differently if I felt confident that the money allocated for this transfer would be saved and reinvested in the next window but it'll just disappear...

Sissoko according to BBC 5 live is closer to Spurs than Everton.

Would make it a very good window if true and Ali Z can put his passport away

Although it doesn't seem like much thought has gone into it, Sissoko is definitely better than no one. The midfield needs bolstering with the outgoings. He is more dynamic than Dier and Wanyama at least.

Still we are the experts at missing out on late deals so let's see.

Not overly fussed by our business, i think it could have been more ambitious but don't think its end of the world stuff, but i don't get this Sissoko link.

At 25 - 30 million, surely we could have found someone better then Sissoko and why would Ali-Z contact be coy over something that has been everywhere.
