Well fact is, total PL minutes played by Bentaleb, Pritchard, Chadli, Njie, Yedlin last season = 165 + 0 + 933 + 184 + 0 = 1282 (14 matches bits & pieces). Townsend alredy a goner last Jan.

Mason will be the biggest miss; I believe Poch is trying to promote Winks as his replacement. He looked very good in preseason. Hope he has a good season for us.

Poch said he wanted a direct Mane like player - Nkoudou is the one ? Dont think so. Squad depth wise, I believe we are slightly better than last year considering the people who left hardly played for us. Problem is we failed to get a marquee player who could have improved the XI.

I don't think we necessarily needed a marquee signing to instantly improve the first 11.

What we need imo is someone to push Eriksen because right now he can continue to play like he's smoked an eighth the night before and still know he's in the team if fit. That is not how you push a squad to improve and keep the competitiveness. And of course if he gets injured we're a bit fucked.

A massive oversight and considering we are in profit this window with CL money and record revenues I don't think the stadium is an excuse.
