Ah so he did know all along who the player was...
I took it as he didn't know as his mate was being coy, and that's why he didn't think it was Sissoko, Isco or anyone that we had been linked to. Once it was called off, his mate revealed. Pretty strange to keep that quiet though considering everybody knew all along.

Have to say that I think that we appear to have been naïve in our thinking, I can't see any reason why we wouldn't have an up-and-comer (someone like Tielemans) as a fall back option. It would still be a good investment and someone who could be developed, with a lower risk. I sincerely hope Poch is happy, I wouldn't want to mess him around as he is a principled man, and if he decides enough is enough, the ramifications for the team he has built will be serious.

we are also the highest earning team in europe that is not reguarly in the CL

Nope - Liverpool, for one, are above us comfortably. We're probably second, but that's just because the Premier League is so much richer than anything else - I believe all 20 clubs will be in the top 30 earners in Europe this season.

I'm looking forward to seeing GKN debut and hopefully our young guns stepping up. Massive opportunity for them. They must be loving this window. Can only be a good thing, the impact of which should not be underestimated.

Hang on guys....

What did we need...

Back up to Kane. Check.
Back up to Dier. Check.

Better third choice keeper.
Better options on the wing (in poch's opinion).

I actually think it's been a pretty decent window. We just got most of our moves in early this time, which makes it seem like we've not done Much.

COYS

Someone to actually improve our first 11, competition for Erikson and someone to fill in for Dembele who we do not click without.

If Poch is happy with the situation then I'm happy.
Is Poch happy?
This for me is the question of all questions.
Poch said he wanted a few in.
No way he didn't know about the 2 we announced today.
So based on his statement we all expected more.
Did poch expect more/is he happy, is the question?
Seems to me he did expect more.
Rolling the dice once is to dare (last season), but twice?
You decide.
I think poch will be pretty pissed off tonight but hey I could be wrong.
Maybe he's fucking overjoyed at nokando and a keeper.
Time will tell I guess.
Just my onions.
