If the clubs have the deal sheet with the PL before 11pm then they have an extension until 1am to complete.

They can do, as long as paper work gets to them by 11 the deal can still go through after

No one said Jansen wasn't a risk, but to say we lack ambition because we didn't sign Islam Slimani is ridiculous. Leicester were up in arms because Steve Walsh left for Everton, but they have just saigned Bolaise for £30M and maybe Sissoko for £30M, and Leicester just spent £30M on Slimani. Im not bothered if we don't spend £30M on players if thats what it buys you.

I dont think anyone on here is being serious about us soending gazillions on players. What is evident is that our squad as a whole is relatively weak. Before you say first 11, I see a team as consisting of 16 players then you have your back ups. I think we lack some guile and everyone who is venting their frustration is also seeing the same,

Yes quite often, sometimes not till midday the next day.

Clubs are allowed to send in rough paperwork so to speak. Don't know whether thats a scribble on a piece of paper i don't know.

Good we have at least acquired a better 3rd choice keeper, that's always exciting!

As ever both sides of the debate are being over-dramatic or over-defensive.

We have signed some players in good positions, we are light in other positions. Our squad isn't weaker and it isn't considerably stronger.

It doesn't mean that the club is a complete failure lacking ambition that is designed purely to upset people who love transfers. It doesn't mean that Levy has done everything right and is beyond reproach.

Those who love a transfer more than any actual football seem to be being more irritatingly childish at the moment but it's a very close run thing.

Can we all just try and be a bit more moderate/less stupid?
