Gonna trust you on this one Pink......have to say you're in a small minority though.

Kind of like with Lamela last season, look how that turned out.

I'm with Pinky on this one, the guy has qualities that, if tapped, will give us a midfielder that can tear opposition teams a new one.

I'm just hoping this happens and Lamela can play at 10:

Sissoko Lamela N'koudou
Kane

It's all relative too. We earned £8m for Pritchard, £13m for Mason and £12m for Townsend.

Don't know about that it seems Poch really wants him. No way Levy shells out that much cash at the death on a player who isn't going to play. I get the feeling Levy has had to back MP on this even at the high cost, perhaps because of others that have slipped through.
Do you think he may play AM?

Honestly, I've watched this guy a lot, absolute best of a player. If Poch taps in and gets his head right, this is a huge signing for us, huge.

Don't make the mistake of being underwhelmed because of the inconsistentcy at Newcastle, it was a mess.

This guy has the ability to pull defences all over the shop. What a signing to round out our midfield options.

We've seriously just upgraded our strength in depth if this goes through.
Does it improve the starting 11?

Sissoko looked better than Pogba in the Euros fuck what he looked like at Newcastle...he was under a succession of shit managers there. could be a beast for us

On the plus side, no way Levy spends £30m on a player on a whim. Poch must hve wanted him (even if he was plan B to Isco), so I am happy to trust Poch. Even if it is an obscene amount of money.

Not the player I wanted specifically nor the price I think he's worth but he does have the quality and physicality for the system and can play several positions, therefore hopefully keeping one or two on their toes and looking over their shoulders.

If he's signed I'll support him (obviouslly) but not exactly cockahoop. It will be interesting to hear Pochettino's comments on the signing.

Also - nice not to be the team getting gazumped for once...

Where does he fit in our team? He's not a dembele replacement in style of play, close control, dribbling and alternatively doesn't bring quick, incisive passing or particularly an expansive passing range

While if he is played further forward, in regards actual end product he doesn't match Chadli who most believe wasn't good enough. And isn't a pick the lock type player for others either

Now I'm trying to come to terms with sissoko being our player come tomorrow and therefore getting behind him , anyone who has considered him for longer than I- where do you seem him fitting in or improving our team? Cheers.
