I'm more delighted about the precedent this sets than the actual transfer itself. Levy, if pushed, can and will back the manager, even if it means operating at a loss!

Some of the first rumours about Sissoko stated that the price was 30mill. If so, why did we wait until 1 hour of the window to bid 30mill. Why not get this over and done with before the season started so that we could have started well?
Because it's fun for levy

Forget Isco, forget the money, forget all the possibles...... Facts:
We needed another powerful, ball carrying midfielder
We needed a player who knew the premier league
We needed a player poch wanted
We needed a player available and who wanted to come to us

He ticks all the boxes. I for one am happy and feel he will benefit massively with us and we will benefit in return

Loads of options with rotation, bit more experience in a young side, more power and something slightly different to what we have

Be positive people!!

Arsenal fan: Check.
Overpriced: Check.
Inconsistent: Check.
Attitude Concerns: Check.

Dont kid yourselves everybody, this is a panic buy. 'Levy Time', is a complete ego trip for our Daniel. It's a big big problem. Seems incredibly unprofessional to me, and makes us look small-time.
How can it be a panic buy if Poch has always rated him?

Because we wanted Newcastle to get desperate and drop the price. Everton prob ruined that

AMR is his main position, but I'm sure he's being brought in with a view to possibly slotting in for Dembele as well. In the event that he doesn't adapt to a CM2 we can drop Dele back and play Sissoko further up.

I watched a bit of his highlights earlier and I really feel he will be competing with Dembele.

Just to point out two summers ago, a lot of people thought Dembele should be moved on, and Poch turned him around big time. Dembele is 29, Sissokko is 27. Played 118 League games in 3 seasons, has 44 French Caps, keeping company with with Pogba, Matuidi, Kante, Kondogbia.

Man has an engine and is a beast.

Would now not be a good time to lower the £30 million offer?

Everton are out of the race and we're the only club.

Poch wanted him a lot - Levy has delivered. I'm delighted mainly for that reason - I also think Sissoko will be very good for us.
