Have you never seen friendlies before? Youth filled teams and squads are the norm, especially when a fair few players are still on break.
What’s friendlies got to do with not having money to sign players?

That’s it thenYouth
Considering the recent ITK I’ve gone from desperately wanting signings to being completely fearful of what we might do and now don’t want any.
Out of necessity not choice!
Looks like the only manager Levy is backing, is the bank manager.
And you still haven’t replied to me yet.Just sat in the toilet at work in tears. My manager has just knocked on the door asking if I'm OK.

Not good enough. The ones I’ve seen with exception of Skipp who is too young the others are average Tom Carrol’s who Poch has no one near the squad last yearYouth

Given how all are turning on Levy (not you @Stoof ), I assume that I'm missing what the alternative was to column a) spending money we don't have on the players who are potentially good enough or column b) overspending on the players who aren't good enough.
Thank god we finished so far ahead of everyone last season so we don't need to worry improving our squad.Judging by all your reactions, I guess you can't have faith much faith in our manager when you consider the players he has available. I mean, if this season is going to be awful when you have some of the league's best players in every position on the pitch (the leagues best player in at least two) then the manager clearly doesn't know what he's doing.
