Considering the recent ITK I’ve gone from desperately wanting signings to being completely fearful of what we might do and now don’t want any.

Yeah it’s like some hideous rollercoaster you can’t get off as the bloke controlling it has gone to the pub.

Given how all are turning on Levy (not you @Stoof ), I assume that I'm missing what the alternative was to column a) spending money we don't have on the players who are potentially good enough or column b) overspending on the players who aren't good enough.

This is not a dig at our youth players (or ValYid), will always get behind the team and the manager, whoever he decides to put on the pitch once this window closes.

But to suggest the reason why we haven't gone out and improved the team, is because we'd rather put faith in our youth is absolute bollocks.

Where have the opportunities been for our youth the last couple of seasons??

Desperation.

Out of necessity not choice!

Looks like the only manager Levy is backing, is the bank manager.

Which proves all this talk of Poch being happy with no signings is bs, he just as outraged as we are, complete shambles how we are the only team ACROSS EUROPE not to have signed ANYBODY

Judging by all your reactions, I guess you can't have faith much faith in our manager when you consider the players he has available. I mean, if this season is going to be awful when you have some of the league's best players in every position on the pitch (the leagues best player in at least two) then the manager clearly doesn't know what he's doing.
Thank god we finished so far ahead of everyone last season so we don't need to worry improving our squad.
Blowing away Champions League opposition at the same time too. Standing still and not spending money, the hallmark of all the great sides

Although Poch didn't strictly rule new signings out. He said:

“It will be difficult. It’s not over until the game is over but with four hours to go it will be difficult.”

Reads as unlikely but things are still being looked at.

The only things that could make this window worse would be rolling over for Man Utd to tickle our tummies for Alderweireld, and signing Andre Gomes .
