All these outgoings, surely we can afford a couple of high-earners, cobble all that money together to buy a superstar.

Head on the line here, but after being an avid ITK follower for nearly 8 years on this site, the GOAT is pretty much the only one I believe. Bassong to Norwich is a good move ...... For us. Wish the lad well. He did good for a while. Just couldn't play himself into games, took too long to get up to pace.

But the goat is multiple people. Your logic is odd!

I thought Fryers to us was done or did I just imagine that?

If it's not, it must be close as United are buying Buttner as LB cover for Evra.
Fryers is waiting for the tribunal. I have no idea but it would make sense if the tribunal sits after the window closes and sorts numerous transfers.

I think we're in for an exciting conclusion to the window as always with spurs.

My top three wishlist would be:

Adebayor
Aubameyang
Moutihno or M'vila or Dembele

Anyone else would just be a bonus to me.

You realise that for a long while (no more) the Goat was mainly JJ, don't you....?

I'm fairly certain that Fryers is a Spurs player in all but name. I think we'll have a vague idea of what the tribunal fee range will be and we'll be happy to pay the top of that, and it's clear that contract terms have already been agreed. I just don't think we can announce it until the fee has been settled.

Am I right in saying that we have a wage "budget" rather than a cap per say. And all these out will easily allow us to offer our targets what they want.

isn't the range £2m - £8m, we're at the 2 mark & ManU are at the 8?

Yes, but as with all things we need to lower it BEFORE we can spend it so the outs determine the ability to offer others more. And then fairness of contracts etc... and squad happiness

I'm not sure there is fairness in contracts tbh. Considering we put Pienaar on 80k, and Daws isn't on that much.

Yes but remember we've gone through these tribunals before and know that the lower figure tends to win out. Routledge and Bostock being the prime examples.

Wasn't the Bostock one lower than the transfer fee we actually offered Palace in the first place?

Hehe. Simon Jlolrdan.

How often do these tribunals meet? Seems he's been waiting for months, poor lad. On the dole at 18 already with all that football skill to offer

Chelsea about to sign another of our targets
How many will that make it (if it goes ahead of course)? 3? 4? Sounds as if the Russian mafia money-launderer is still smarting following AVB's recent negative comments about his time at - and manner of leaving - the Chavs.
