Why moderate it?
If you have RO threads for both then let the masses have their discussion and just wipe it every day and start afresh. We can self moderate by using the rep, even easier if they gave us an off topic button which gave neg rep.

Anyway, itk. Jj's stuff last night... Between 1 and 4 players between now and deadline day and no keeper. Would we be ok with that? (not sure of the 1 included or excluded adebayour?!)

I would like us to sign Lloris, but if JJ doesn't think we will then so be it. Will be interesting to see who is next through the door in or out...

Do we think a player in before Dawson out confirmed (IF confirmed) To soften blow or just due to order of proceedings?

Am inclined to think next through will be a midfielder.

What I don't understand is why the itk threads are read only at all? As long as each new piece of itk is at the start of a new thread, making it easy to only view itk if desired, what's the harm in allowing replies? Sometimes you want to know peoples responses to one particular piece of info but you have to go through 35 pages in the daily thread discussing all itk that day(along with many other things!)

So what would be the harm in allowing replies to each piece of itk?

No matter how much I'd love for him to stay it just appears to be well beyond that at the moment - so from all the noise I'd assume 'very close'..

I reckon those 4 players are a striker, a cm, a winger and a keeper. He said he doesn't think we will get a keeper but then he might not think all the planets will align!

This thread promotes consistently flowing discussion where a large number of posters will congregate to view / contribute.
By opening up Read-only for each piece of ITK, that process will inevitably slow down and quite probably grind to a halt once the heat from the info has dissipated, or is poor quality anyway.

I really hope we see some more ITK about us signing an exciting wide man, I'm not fully comfortable having Townsend only as real back up to Lennon and BAle and I am not a fan of VdV playing that role.

Watching Eden Hazard play the role last night for Chelsea, he's a superstar and its a terrible shame we failed to bring him to the Lane, we need a player like that and I hope in addition to a Luka replacement and another striker we are still looking to bring someone who can offer us something similar to what we would have got with Mr Hazard

Plus signing the two Hazards was a journalists dream. If they do play together at any stage I can guarantee the headline in at least one of the red tops will be "Dukes of Hazard".
