Someone made a similar point in the Twatter thread. Seems eminently logical to me, although the flaw in the thinking is in assuming there will be anything of note to announce.

I deal with Investec every day and... I've heard nothing. Why aren't secrets leaked to me!?! Surely once Levy makes a decision he'll try to filter it down to the business card creation guy of one of the major sponsors?

I bet there is at least 1 spurs fan that uses QTP - an automated testing tool by HP. They run a script of going on to the site, to several pages and then back out again. The application will then tell you the differences in the page.
