Well, what a wait! You're going to love this morning's update my little ITK-lings, just love it. A bit Kevin Keegan of me I know but after yesterdays events i've come over all giddy. It's only taken 25 days but at last the Transfer Window could be declared well and truly open!

Yesterday, the wife said to me "My gynocolgist told me no sex for 2 weeks."

So I asked......"What did your dentist say?"

It all started innocently enough, when, over on COYS, this was posted

Meanwhile, on the happy bus, they were playing 'Guess the identity of POTL'

It's an account used by the club's marcoms department. Charlie Wijeratna, the main user over the past year, left the club by 'mutual consent' last week.

Really?

Either he's gone rogue, or more likely it's someone else from the team there using the login. POTL is the clubs 'Stig'.

Leave it out. You can't be serious.

As is often remarked - the internet is the place where men are men, women are men and children are Interpol.

And nutters are nutters.

As a result of yesterday's shenanigans I can now exclusively reveal the identity of POTL. I've put it in a spoiler so as not to ruin the surprise.

Now what came first? The ITK or the media? I'm betting media because The Sun say that:Giovani Dos Santos could leave Tottenham Hotspur, with both Villarreal and Granada looking to sign the Mexican.

i'd take seeing Gio & Pav go and getting no replacements.

Dear Daniel

Please lighten the purse strings a tad eh...not in a Leeds club threatening way but in a Damiao + goal scoring match changing wide player sort of way Marin/Shaquiri/Remy. Not too much to ask for is it. The kind of intent stamping purchases that will help rock the foundations of the Woolwich Wanderers and Chavs a little more and will make the press realise that there is life outside of Manchester. Pick up Krul in the summer and we will be good to go for a few years I think.

Probably. But it makes my day a tad more interesting.

Things look to be rather chaotic and if you apply some common sense and logic, it's unlikely that we will sign anyone.

We probably will be active, in the last few hours - probably more of a show than anything to say look we have tried.

Fact remains, lots of our 'bigger' targets turn us down.
I would imagine even if we won the league the likes of City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal would still be a better draw for players.

Sad state of affairs considering we play attractive football, have a loyal fan base and have a nice looking kit.

But, the area is pretty shoddy, the stadium is small (in comparison to the others), and the money is shit ;-)

Players are and have been turning us down, fuck knows what the real reasons are, but can you honestly seeing us buying an already claimed world class centre forward?

They are the most expensive buys, on the most expensive wages. Looks like we would be going for young, to breed. Or very old, to cover.

Every day I wake up with a dream fresh in my head, that Pav leaves and we bring someone else in...someone that will work hard for the team, someone that can head, someone that has more body strength than a small, drunken child, someone that can control a football and pass a football well...someone that offers much more than the occasional cracker in a ridiculously workshy 90 mins.

Maybe today is that day, I live in hope.
