Don't worry. Ade will be back soon enough, and it seems his confidence has been picking up. To be completely honest, I would take last season's Ade over LD any day of the week (and twice on Sunday). If he's back to his old self when he gets back from Africa, we'll be fine!

If we don't get in a striker, we won't get 4th. As simple as that. Defoe is faaaaaaaar from good enough, and Ade has been shit as well. It's such a shame, because a striker is really all we need this window.

Yet even with Adebayor injured/absent for much of it we're still 4th at the moment. Now we've got some creativity behind the forward as well so as far as I'm concerned we've improved an attack that over the first half of the season was good enough to make the top 4.

It's not all doom and gloom just yet.

Right I'm OBVIOUSLY still playing catch up. I'm seeing many posts saying about Pleat being "on form" because he's so "close to the club"... So because it's the drink & smoke talking, I'm gonna respond with "what if he's been told not to disclose anything"??

It's been well discussed on here about how our lines have been cut this TW, so why would somebody so close to the club be any different to the guy who is selecting the team each week?
