Gonna stick my neck out early and say No incomings today for us... alas.

We might manage some loans out, but I do believe that could be it.

Maybe the fact that since 'Arry left and there is no news coming out of Tottenham is a sign that we are working on signings, there wasnt a great deal of ITK on a lot of our recent incomings, or maybe this is me just being optimistic/delusional yet again on deadline day :(

Adie says we aren't signing anyone on twitter. Surely that means we are definitely signing someone???

As bad as it sounds, if we manage to get rid of Gomes, Bentley and Jenas, it will have been a great transfer window given our financial situation.

Not without a couple of incomings to cover up the glaring gaps in our squad.
A chairman who wants his club to do well should be addressing that, and there is no need to break the bank to do so. So far, i have been quite optimisitic we will sign a quality line leadin gstriker, but I am not as convince now.

All the positivity about 'two in' seems to have gone to 'nobody' coming in. Could this be linked to our failure to shift Jenas, Bentley and Hudd, as we thought it was going to be done today. I think with them off the wage bill, there may be some movement incoming. If they stay, then maybe a loan in at best, but I am starting to dread the disappointment of previous windows, problems not addressed, or a desperation signing that send out all the wrong messages.

The silence on QPR's deal for the first two, and the rumoured collapse of Hudd's move is not good. I think another club may come in for Hudd, but maybe only a loan, Fulham's cash offer may well have been our best bet.

I think they have a right to be disappointed that noone in our management team are bothering to do anything about the obvious problems in our team. One that is going to cost us a place in the champions league next season.
So how come we are 4th now and or rivals for 4th havent strengthened and we have added a damn good player in Holtby, but we wont be 4th at end of season in 14 games time. I dont understand your logic

Pretty sure JJ said that Levy has no requirements on AVB to make CL this year.

Its not a case of requirements is a case of common sense. I.e. its in the best interests of the club to make it if possible, and signing a striker would give us a much better chance of doing that.

So how come we are 4th now and or rivals for 4th havent strengthened and we have added a damn good player in Holtby, but we wont be 4th at end of season in 14 games time. I dont understand your logic

Unless Everton address their issues and get Negredo as expected you mean?

Look at our recent performances and my logic should be clear to all.

Has there been any news on Leandro today? I saw the newspaper links last night.
Just a few bits on twitter. TBF it seems like we have been much closer to signing him in the past without sealing it. Holtby and Fryers in with some big earners leaving the club is a good window in my opinion.
