I've been holding on to that for a long time tbh :dead:I'm still holding onto the hope of Jenas and Bentley leaving!

If this is true, then hopefully a deal can still be done. Getting those two done will open up room for others I think. I can't see how we can repeat the mistakes of last year and not address the weakness in our squad. We haven't won in 4 games, Everton are on the march and Liverpool have strengthened.
I reckon the outgoings hold the key to any signings, squad is not balanced, but is at the limits in terms if numbers. Offloading fringe players will allow us to make the right signings without over committing.
I think Jenas and Bentley will be resolved. Huddlestone, not so sure on. Surprised at Damaio though, since we were haggling over a couple of hundred thousand on Holtby and were only looking at loan to buy on Negredo. Either we really are short of cash, so have we really bid £20 for Damaio, or was Levy just playing hardball on Holtby because he knew he already had him wrapped up, and is reluctant to commit on Negredo because he is deemed not to be an alternative not a first choice option??
I think after 5pm it will start to hot up

I think usually when someone loses their access, they can still read but not post. But Rob's just reset things so anyone kicked out today is, in the words of Micky Flanagan.......Out Out.Is there a way you can make individuals have read only rights on this thread? It is jammed packed with spam (ironically now including this post).

Seems all v.strange to me it seems v.much like the THFC PR machine is working its magic we tried for Damiao but we couldn't get it done....Moutinho deal went exactly like this!! i don't expect it to be done its been called by most as being a dead duck and suddenly on the final day its alive....i will not fall for this one as i did the Moutinho SAGA....PR stunt for the fans to stop a inevitable backlash if we do not sign anybody....or get Kenwyn Jones as the back up plan!!The Chief football writer for the Guardian just tweeted this:

Quite. Let's also hope that two years has been long enough to establish whether we can or are prepared to meet his personal terms, too.Why leave till the last day - unless they think Brazil is not far from Canvey Island?
LOL! We should hear some movement by then
