So, we are happy to fuck our season by loaning Ade without a replacement. Our dumb arse transfer policy never misses a trick to compromise our football team does it?

Then again, I suspect that many fans won't care as their hate for certain players actually outweighs their concern about the football team they are supposed to support.

Harry Redknapp tells Gary Cotterill at QPR that he WON'T be winding down his car window today. QPR unlikely to be busy.

Probably means nothing in the world of HR, but it's one less sign of positivity for an Adebayor loan

I wouldn't want him to leave without a replacement. He could still score goals (if his head is in the right place).

Mirror's John Cross is saying we've agreed a fee for Alli

Tottenham have won the race to sign MK Dons wonderkid Dele Alli.
We understand a £5m deal for the 18-year-old is close to completion and will be done today.
They have beaten off Aston Villa and Newcastle with MK Dons wanting him to be loaned back to boost their promotion‎ campaign.

Trix's latest makes sense. If a few things happen its like a domino affect.

Adebayor is bound to be the spoil sport though, isn't he...

From John Cross, again:

Harry Redknapp has sparked a deadline day scramble to sign Emmanuel Adebayor.

Queens Park Rangers boss Redknapp is understood to have had an offer accepted by Spurs - and it is now up to Adebayor whether to make the switch.

Stoke are also interested in the 30-year-old who has been told he can leave White Hart Lane if he can find a deal in January.

But QPR are now hoping they can persuade Adebayor to move to Loftus Road even though he has 18 months left on his £100,000-a-week contract at Spurs.

Adebayor is understood to want to move to a Champions League club and would rather move abroad which leaves QPR and Stoke with a lot of persuading to do.

But it would appear that QPR - despite Redknapp insisting he has not got much money to spend - have made the first move to get their man.
Paris Saint Germain were also keen but could not balance their books to bring him in while Roma also saw a deal fall through because of finance.

Adebayor has fallen out of favour at Spurs despite captaining the club last month because the fans have turned on him after he criticised the atmosphere at White Hart Lane.

That has left Spurs ready to listen to offers for Adebayor in January either on loan or preferably on a permanent basis.

QPR blew a huge chunk of their budget in January on Mauro Zarate and Redknapp admits he needs a striker with Adebayor now in his sights.

They have also been looking at French midfielder Yann M’Vila as a January deal but that may depend on Adebayor and the budget.

Guys, whilst I appreciate the media updates, can we put them in the players threads please before it all starts getting out of hand? At this rate we'll end with with posts from every outlet known to man.

Just on the offchance that we get some ITK this morning.

If he leaves without a replacement, that means Kane has to stay fit the whole season (and not suffer a loss of form/suspension/burn out) etc. Even then (which is unlikely as players get injured all the time), if Soldado is injured we will have no striker to put on the bench.

It's not like our season has petered out either. We're about to embark on a massively important month of games.

And yet I truly believe that a lot of supporters wouldn't care, provided Ade is gone. Poch will care, that's for sure. In fact, anyone with half a brain would, unless the success of the football team is of secondary importance.

I just hope if we do end up with a Lambert sized covering option the knives don't come out tomorrow because certain fans aren't happy we didn't do more.

We are ticking along very very nicely, and there's no real need for any big changes imo. Keep the ship steady.

POCH RULES, COYS.

There's a lot to agree with here, however if he's seen by all (including Poch) as a negative influence then it might be better to get him out and have a worse case scenario of Chadli up front.

Ade on form is a player we need right now - he can score goals if his head is right. Just comes down to "is his head right", and none of us outside the club have a clue about that.

Would love to donate more but due to the escalating legal costs of a pending case against me revolving around the insertion of a variety of religious artifacts (of apparent historical significance), into a teenage lady dwarf, I can only pledge a £10 this window..... I wont bore you with the details of the case, however all I will say is its a stitch up..... She was pissed and barely coherent.... and I had the crucifix, the vegetable oil and the opportunity. My sap was rising what more can I say.
