There is an old adage about coaches and managers that if you start listening to the fans, soon enough you'll be sitting with them. But Levy has got to know how infuriated the supportership is right? He needs to back his manager and start winning something other than European qualification before an outright revolt. Failure this window will lead to failure on the pitch and that is going to make skywalk sales tough to come by.

Okay, so we’re at stage 4 of the ‘classic spurs transfer window’ - The Letdown

Roll on Stage 5 - The deadline day scramble

Still my favourite stage after the VdV signing!

I’m going to get my hopes up about Bale signing the same way.
That day Vdv signed was pure gold. Closely followed by last years Plane spotting from Turin to London to see if Dybala had turned up yet.

Swiss ramblings showing our finances over the last 5 years, the owner hasn't spent a penny whilst taking £40 million from the club. So excuse me if i don't laugh at people sticking up for a board that doesn't have anything but there own interest and deep pockets to fill.

Had we won yesterday, the general attitude in this thread would be the complete opposite. People would be saying “Get a move on and get that striker Levy! Lol!!” And “wow, wouldn’t it be amazing if we pulled off the signing of Bale?”

Instead because we lost, we’ve got people being incredibly nasty and chucking personal insults at Donna Cullen and some people priming a turd with the intention of squeezing it through Daniel Levy’s letter box because he won’t destroy our wage structure for Bale.

Fine margins.

I don't think it's that we lost. It's the manner in which we lost

Sooo, Kion Etete is ready to step up, right?!

Bummer it seems the ITK is not suddenly so optimistic, but I guess that’s to be expected in a typical Tottenham window.

Since it's a free-for-all today I will say what I think, and have thought since JM was appointed.

I am willing to defend the bald bastard to some extent. What he has done for the club is mostly fantastic, the one area where he has consistently failed is transfers. I applauded his bravery when he sacked Poch and appointed Mourinho simply because that was the boldest choice he could have made. After Mourinho there is no one else you can blame, he is one of the most decorated managers in the game. So if Mourinho were to fail, because of failed transfers despite us hearing he is very pragmatic (which is exactly what I expected from him contrary to many others) then there is no more defense for Levy.

But I must say, if you were to appoint someone like Mourinho and make him the second best paid manager in the world only to screw him over with some transfers... That would require some next level stupidness.

Oh, and I'm also really curious as to why we hate Donna Cullen tonight. As a simple foreigner I know nothing about her.

I don’t think anyone is sticking up for the board, so much as suggesting that crude ad hominem personal attacks at specific members of the board are a bit over the top.

if I could winner this 100 times, I would.

It’s like the last days of the Third Reich in here, with this thread being Hitlers bunker and the Russians are rolling in! Absolute panic, mostly pushed over the edge by yesterday.

Let’s wait until the deadline, then when baldy lets out down we can return to the cyanide capsules.

Has anyone been whoring on the other sites? I’m banned from COYS for not posting enough or I’d go and look myself. We could really do with some actual news to discuss.

I'm not worried about hurt feelings, there's 60 odd thousand people plus a waiting list that love there team and don't want it run just to fill the board and owners pockets.

Sorry to be THAT guy, but why else would someone own a football club if it wasn't to line his own pockets?
