Hey, great! Brasil_Spur 'disagrees' with my post pointing out that JJ wasn't stopped from posting in this thread, despite my quoting one of Rob's posts in support of this statement. Presumably he disagree with Rob and A&C too. That's one really smart cookie.

One of the great things about the Twitter thread is that the discussions of how best to post/publish/manage ITK doesn't happen. It's a free-for-all, but it churns out verified ITK, non-verified ITK and crazy rumours. It all ends up being fun. Likewise, people are pretty quick to identify the rubbish from the quality. Discussions, oddly, are generally on topic.
In other sports (US based in particular such as baseball and basketball) twitter is the ruling forum for all rumours, ITK and transfer info. You get wind of things there first. So, I wouldn't expect it to be a fad with football, it was inevitable really. Someone like JJ can now be in control of whatever they publish and can chat with whoever he wants. He doesn't need to filter/manage and post through certain channels etc. Its easy, accesible and stress free.
In my opinion, any modding of the twitter thread or this one needs to take into consideration that ITK'ers preference for twitter might not be faddish. Likewise that wherever ITK'ers go, readers will follow.

Enough discussion on the matter. It's been said that we're working on something, we've spent the last few days discussing it, and I've spent the past couple of days chatting with some of the ITKs to come to some kind of arrangement. Let's leave the discussion behind here, soon we'll have a solution.

You may have quoted Rob in support of that but you could also quote JJ himself saying that he was asked not to post.
I am sure it was some misunderstanding/miscommunication but whatever happened, JJ seemed put out and he is no longer posting here which is a shame. This is the catalyst which has shifted the focus of this forum.
Not that it's a big deal as we can still see his ITK in the Twitter thread. Things have changed after the above happened so SC needs to adapt really - I know the powers that be are looking into doing just that.

No, I'm not bothered in the slightest. It's just rather amusing that someone not only disagrees with a factual statement, but can't be bothered to say why they disagree. Rob and A&C have more than once explained what the situation with JJ was; some people apparently disbelieve that explanation.
I could have done, but it seems to me that some people have decided to go with that and ignore what A&C and Rob have said—and said several times, as above.
I'm also sure it was a misunderstanding, but JJ chose to get his blow in first and decamp to Twitter.
The reason this thread's gone flat is that there is no ITK coming in from elsewhere right now. There doesn't seem to be that much on Twitter, either.

He is wasn't banned and he is free to post what ever and where ever he likes. He was just asked if he could post his ITK directly into the RO because large parts were getting missed due to the craziness of this thread when he posted in here. He has decided to use twitter to post his information but of course he is free to post here when he wishes. Nothing more than that.
