If Bale stays we'll challenge for the title this season IMO.

Bale will realise that so if Madrid fail to come up with the goods I fully expect him to knuckle down and get his game head on.

This is going to be a fantastic season.

Just a little concerned that it will be a collection of great players rather than a team. A bit like man City the year before they won the title. Need time to gel and this season might just be about qualifying for the CL.

Because no one knows for sure whether Bale's going or not. Madrid have to pay the 100,000,000 million magic number in a way that is acceptable to THFC. Hard to see that happening IMHO.

Yeah fair enuff. I suppose his silence means it really is in the balance but slightly tipping our way i feel.

When POTL speaks we know its true .

Why wont he open up about Bale ?

I have been wondering about this, his last info on bale was about a month ago saying we were talking about a new deal for bale. But nothing since, seeing as it is the question on all our lips it does seem odd. He is either standing by his last bit of info, or he if he is indeed a club insider (some have suggested he is an "official" leaker) he has been told not to let any info out. Still odd though.

In terms of ITK on news conferences, surely the media would be all over this saying "Spurs have called a press conference", no? I mean the Club wouldn't keep it secret and turn up to the conference with no media there.

You would need to invite the press to a press conference. In which case said press would be going fucking potty right now.

Or the actual fact is no-one knows if Perez is going to do something crazy and meet Levy's demands?

But the did ultimately win the title.

How long after Mourinho and Wenger assembled their first sides did it take to win the title? genuine question, wasnt it first year?

If the club had called a press conference SSN, BBC, ESPN, BT and every newspaper would have been barrelling over there just in case it was in regards to Bale and of course that would mean it would be everywhere that we had called one. We don't do press conferences for signings, we haven't since Bentley.

Also I'm not sure the competition was as strong/close as it is now when Mourinho won the title the 1st time round.

Just chucked a tenner into the coffers, I will double the contribution if Bale stays and/or we sign Lemala.

We have Internet monitoring software here at work, this site is in the top 10 most visited sites in the Firm, will they block the site? Na, why would I want to do that!?!!? ;)

Keep up the good work boys and girls!
