I tell you what, I'd fucking crease if Levy ended up doing to Perez exactly what the Inter/Porto chairmen have done to us over the last few years.

although it's all positive with news of willian and lamela and all that...

when i clicked on RO and read the #307 Ramos says Bale done....

I honestly had an immediate saddened feeling and sour expression. Unconscious and uncontrolled.

That boy was special. He personified spurs and football for me last season.

Step forward boy wonder Lamela.

He may prove to be just that, but average joe knows as much about him and his football ability as they know about Champion the wonder dog's...

The names we have signed are still going to be soured by the (what now looks) inevitable sale of GB.

All the Lemala talk is a little premature EY. Even if Gareth heads for Spain.

I'm not sure why I made that comment, being facetious tbh.

Lamela won't hit the heights of Bale last season and may never but that's because we were set up FOR Bale. Lamela is still a very exciting player with huge potential. This season we have so much quality even if Bale stays, he will just be another (albeit vital) piece of the puzzle.

To actually address your point I'm confident we'll sign him if Bale goes.

If I recall the story correctly, we were trying loan Bale out. He was having that odd period in his career where we couldn't win a game and it was effecting his play. We talked about the "Bale curse". So Harry had the idea to send him out on loan (which was a good idea) to get his mojo back. But BAE got injured, and Harry had to play him, we finally won a game and things have went pretty well since then.

Bale may not hit the heights of last season. EY think on that - wherever he finished up.

He is a great egg to have in your basket but not if he's the only egg. (grasshopper ;))
