Not surprising at all if rumours were correct as to who was on the tribunal board , Red Nose and another Utd official.They just agreed with the figure that they had told Spurs they would accept. If correct this shows how seriously corrupt and incorrectly structured our FA is. Oody disgraceful!!!!!!!

I don't think that the comment was meant seriously. The FA would not allow Gill and Ferguson to be on a tribunal concerning Manchester United as it would be a clear conflict of interest.

I guess that Levy would be concerned that an independent tribunal would arrive at a fee around £3-£4m

I can if we have it (and considering recentsales one assumes we have) and... AND(!!!) we can sort the deals out.

Money is not the issue, it's time vs the willingness of the selling parties to part with players in time for a reasonable price (i.e. not a Man City induced valuation) and for the player in question to be interested enough to push it through in time.

50mil is only 3 signings(base on the quoted fees of the players we are chasing, all up to 12mil at least). that includes agent fee, sign on fee, etc etc..GK, ST, Wing cover and 2 cm. thats 5 choices with any 3 combinations. there are so many variations that can happen. this 4 days would be one hell of a ride.
