Modric out for 2 weeks at least now!! Burst appendix... Bye bye 4th! As harry would say "for sure"
Please play 2 up top!!! Pav and the short guy..:bowdown:VDV into Modric's place. Two up top.
Just pooh to it all really. Pooh I say!
Oh yes, I meant to say, Crouch is not one of the two. Please play 2 up top!!! Pav and the short guy..
A few days ago after signing Pienaar, some people were saying how we could now compete with Chelsea in the transfer market.
They obviously never wanted him!

But where does that leave us in terms of accountability in our transfer dealings? Who carries the can? Who gets the credit?
Until the final day, when we did bid knowing they would be rejected.
Hi, That just doesn't make any sense, Why would we do that?
unless you mean, we bid, didn't hold out much hope..........Which would fit with our re-active methodology this window.
exactly!
Today I was told that , we were informed the players in Spain are Not For Sale at any price. we didnt bid, we just get registering interest.
Until the final day, when we did bid knowing they would be rejected.
Hence Harry saying we wouldnt be doing anything,
Pathetic attempt by all.
Can I just say well done to Adie, Rebrab and the other guys who also put their rep on the line to provide an insight! I know as well as you guys know, we aimed for the stars, and didnt even reach the clouds!
The main problem is that our main rivals have strengthened and we haven't. I do not think Pienaar is an improvement on what we already had, just another squad member. Whoever messed up the transfer in the window, either Harry or Levy, we became a club that looked desperate during the last few days.Trying to stay positive here, so bear with me...
We are 5th, we have not played particularly well at all this season, our strikers can't hit a barn door. Our defence has been leaky.
BUT...
We are still 5th.
We have the same players that got us to 4th last season, if anything we have improved with VDV and Pienaar coming in. Dawson has come back and shored up our back 4 (I'm ignoring last Sunday's abhorition and writing it off as our seasonal stuffing!). Our strikers are not top class, but they will start scoring.
Tonight will be a massive test for us, we are truly up against it with the injuries that we have, but a hard earned 3 points will instill a lot of belief. We claimed to have the best squad in the league a couple months back, lets prove it.
Keep the faith. COYS
