Rebecca Caplehorn is in charge of this stuff and is certainly on a lot more than 35k.
And as for the loss, it is possibly multi-million pound level.
You reckon?

The football teams at our club are mismanaged from top to bottom. Whether it’s the academy, the medical staff, squad building and now even being aware of the framework of football we continue to make mistake after mistake; lurch from bad decision to bad decision.

We are winning nothing under this ownership. We just have to sit and hope that they have built enough buildings to get the profit they want from a sale and move on.

Asset FC in the meantime.

Don't really get the mutual termination of the contract meltdown?

Maybe because here in American sports it happens all the time? But if no one is willing to spend money on him with his wages and still has 1.5 years left then better to rip the band-aid now compared to let him hang around in/out of the side.

During a rebuild you have to make some tough decisions, I honestly wish we could come to an agreement with a few more players to get them off our books permanently to start from scratch!
This kind of measured objective post has no business belonging in this thread. ITS FUCKING PITCHFORK TIME BABY!

Did we not sign Romero in summer? It's sounding like the club misunderstood the rules completely and that's why we dropped out of some signings as well.
Ah fuck, this has got me thinking that we didn't press with Zaniolo on loan because, well basically, we didn't know what the hell we were doing!

That announcement video is more embarrassing than the Doherty mix up
Felt pretty standard as far as club announcements go these days, but all I could think of at the end was how cringey it must've been in the room when the media guys had to ask him to dress up:

"Right, so Pedro, we think it would be really funny if we end the video of you in a Zorro mask. Y'know, like Zorro -Porro... yeah you've heard that a lot right! hahahaha

...but if you wouldn't mind popping this mask on and doing a little sword gesture like this... oh that's great Pedro you're a natural swordsman hahaha."

It used to be 4 loans in (domestically). Unlimited Internationally. We clearly didn't know about the 8 rule but (I'm speculating) we've also got confused about the 4 rule and that's stopped some deals.

I always like to think that all the drama is a bit pantomime on here, a bit of fun getting riled out over the twist and turns, that in reality they are well in control but this kind of admin work should be absolutely basic and if there's validity to this, it's really dissappointing. I'm used to hearing we're targeting X amount of players and it never coming to fruition, that extra one player never manifesting, I at a certain point accepted that is the nature of our club. However to hear this level of oversight in our planning and understanding of what's viable, if true is really poor. The club is an entity where the resources available could be the difference between 60-100 million pounds in revenue from where it places, that's not even accounting for resources that become available in terms of potential signings and sponsorship. To leave itself short due to a failure to understand the rules of registration it has to navigate, that is negligence.

How many perennial top four sides have changed their transfer policy when they made CL footie?

Name me one?

The majority,if not all , of the other top four sides didn't need to change their transfer policies.
And the reason...
They were already winning trophies,

We ain't , that's the difference.

Apparently they used to same sword to slice up Doherty's contract

Kind of amazing that we've signed a really cracking player who we should all be excited about, and the club have still accidentally managed to ensure he walks into a wall of frustration...

Why part? but yes to both either way.
Probably more on the multi-million bit. Her responsibility sure, but as per earlier most senior people don’t know fucking anything unless it’s put in big fuck off red letters in front of them! Maybe I need some new bosses. Ha.

I know some here are annoyed over club messing up Doherty transfer and not happy with overall activity...spare of thought for Everton fans - their club sell a player for 40m , get a new manager and then not sign 1 player this window....
