You boys do make me laugh, unless you write war and bloody peace people think you're uptight. All a bit of banter innit.

I couldn't give a flying seahorse about neg-reps, but you marked it 'wtf'? which I can only assume meant 'why the facts?', if that's the case then I accept your apology for me giving you facts.

I take issue when people change the course of history, three teams owed us money, we're re-signed the players, makes perfect financial sense to someone like DL.

Anyway, lead on McDuff, not ITK, back to talking about Bale eh.

Oh did I? Haha, sorry, I assumed I'd marked it Disagree. Hmm perhaps I should change it? Nah they're both neutral reps and this thread needs more WTF's.

Anyhoo it's still pretty appropriate because at the time Redknapp was all over the shop telling everyone who would listen that Spurs never should've sold any of those players blah blah, we know he loves Defoe and Keano, etc etc. Overwhelming evidence to show Redknapp wanted them rather than the entirely circumstantial supposition that Levy must've bought them back because Pompey owed us money.

Yeah I agree, especially if he can really put his stamp on our squad and bring in the right people. Even without Bale next year I'm incredibly excited to see:

- Sandro and Paulinho together
- A competent striker leading our line
- Chadli looks like he is going to be a silky player (I see him as Krancjar with pace a bit)

I do love Bale but he is a rather selfish individual on the pitch so maybe we'll really see a team approach next year instead of just giving the ball to him and hoping he can do something.

Really think we're going to surprise a few next season.

As much as I said I'm excited, that also scares the crap out of me too if I'm honest. I also thought you said Chadli was a 'silly' player at first, which you didn't, but it would have been funny.

More evidence though that we only got Keane because Defoe broke his foot...and the fact the Scousers owed us wonga.

When we say WUM what does it actually mean. Is it just 100% fabricated nonsense, or was there at some point some legitimacy to their info that ended up with them turning to the darkside. Or is it that their source is just awful?

Adam Suter is pure fabricated nonsense.

Mate, I trust YOU more than I trusted Ramos.

However, (fuck me I'm unpopular at the moment...now I know how BC feels) I'm still a bit unsure about AVB without Bale, which in a weird way excites me because if the inevitable happens we'll get to really see AVB earn his corn, which I think could turn out to be fascinating, we'll see more of the fabled tactical approaches that he is 'famous' for, rather than the Roy of the Rovers approach.

I'm genuinely quite looking forward, in a sadistic way, to life without he who should not be named. It was fucking quality to watch him at work though.

This is exactly what I said in Spurs chat during last season. IMO AVB is a talented manager but Bale's roy of the rovers performances made it difficult to judge how good he is. Guess we are going to find out.

Townsend, Sigurdsson, Bale, Dempsey, Defoe, Adebayor, Assou-Ekotto, Rose, Huddlestone, Parker, Caulker gone. I expect I've missed someone.
All linked with moves.
It's probably quicker to list those staying.
They can't all go and nor would I want them too. Too much change equals turmoil and strangers playing together which risks undoing the good progress we've made.
