When bales Ma and Pa can to that meeting the other day - it wasn't to plead to let him go , but in fact pleading to levy to not consider selling him this season taking into account his personal circumstances and mrs bale. I know business is business, but this is a different view on why parents may have been in thy meeting if it took place.

Sorry if I'm repeating what has been said, but in the last 5 pages (don't fancy going back any further), there was a brief mention but nothing confirmed.

Gutted if that's true, I read the Itk as I left work, and seemed like an exciting prospect. Probably the best we can hope for, as it looks as though Coentrao will only be available as part of a Bale deal now.

Huge credit to Levy for spending heavily early in the window. 50 million pound net spend thus far! Hopefully we can retire the fiscal scolding of "Doing a Leeds" every time someone brings up us spending 20 million pounds for a player, as it's clear the financial situation has changed with the new television rights deal.

As for Bale leaving, I'd wait to see if JJSet has anything further to say on the matter. He's exceptionally credible in my opinion, and I value his opinion over many others, simply because he has shown that he isn't afraid to deliver bad news.

However, if Bale is going to be sold, it has to be done in the next week. There is no way he can be sold after August 15th, as it would leave the squad very imbalanced and would make bringing in replacements very difficult.
