Hardly surprising, but from JJ I'd say that's definitive. Anyone who's been holding on to a deep dark dirty little hope that he's staying can pretty much banish that from their mind. It's good news in its way. At least the money can now be put to good use.

Well considering we've sold most of the deadwood over the past 2-3 windows, and have a long-term manager that meshes with Levy's youth philosophy, I'm a little more hopeful that Levy won't be as snail-like with the ins. This window feels different to me than the past few.

I don't understand the info about the rejected payment. Surely we agree a fee before sending the payment, rather than just sending random payments and hoping for the best? It sounds like either:

Someone got their sums wrong and we sent the wrong amount - although I'm not sure the payment would be rejected. Wouldn't they just ask for a second payment to make up the difference?

Or someone keyed in the wrong account details when they tried to send the payment. But then I'm not sure why we would increase the amount being sent.

It all sounds a bit odd, so hopefully we'll get a bit of clarification about what happened once the deal goes through.
