been reading t'other blog and spotted this phrase (paraphrased!) "cant believe that this deal has been derailed by Levy because of a few million" reference Johnson.......

I love the sentiments and sense of reality that that phrase inspires, "Aye go on then you cheeky scamps, heres 50% more than your player is worth....now run along you tyke..." The phrase could only be more moronic if it was further emphasised with "measely" before few million.

I thought this was a site for spurs fans, didnt realize i had stumbled into some kind of select billionaires website where all the posters blow their noses on £50.00 notes and wipe their arses on swans necks.

Whilst there is a large number on here who are entertaining posters and rational and intelligent thinkers ....... there is a more vast majority who are, to be quite blunt about it, errrrrrr......... Dicks (that nicely and succinctly describes them!)

Couldn't you have described it as "a triumphant looking small bald man standing outside spurs lodge next to some extremely impressive looking automobiles, of such stature that they are more than likely being used to ferry extremely important people about. The small bald man appeared almost directorial in his demeanor... The gentlemen he was meeting appeared cowed and resigned to defeat even before the meeting"........ That would have had '50 shades of grey'-like squeals of excitement behind keyboards all over the world... its all in how you sell it

Willian, Damiao, and Moutinho. What is that... ~£50-60m?? Yeah, as much as I'd like it, I can't wrap my head around that amount. Shit, even if we sell Modric for £30-35m that'd still be another £20-30m to lay out. Doesn't seem like that's part of Levy's M.O.
