Willian, Damiao, and Moutinho. What is that... ~£50-60m?? Yeah, as much as I'd like it, I can't wrap my head around that amount. Shit, even if we sell Modric for £30-35m that'd only be another measley £20-30m to lay out.

Here's to hoping tho

There ya go ... fixed!

I just don't understand the suggestion from JJetset and others that VDV, arguably our best remaining player, will have to be sold to afford Moutinho. So we need to sell both Modric and VDV to afford our lesser Modric replacement? Especially if we are only looking to raise around £10M (around what Victor Moses and Matt Jarvis are going for) by selling VDV. I realize his age and contract situation, but his value to the team is far higher than that. If funds needed to be raised, why not sell Defoe, who is in the same situation but also shouldn't be playing much for us (and VDV is a far better player in every way except hamstring strength. Or sell Walker, who overrated and overvalued at the moment and replaceable.

As it stands we're going to have to play VDV or Sigurdsson deeper or play Livermore/Parker/Jenas next to Sandro. To rectify and get Moutinho that we need to sell VDV? Huh? Meanwhile we are going to spend £20M on Leandro and ~£20M on Willian to probably start in place of Lennon? And it's looking like we didn't want Sahin on loan if he's going to Liverpool instead.

The only way I can make sense of it is we have a cheaper Modric-replacement like Dembele or Pjanic lined up and AVB wants Moutinho in addition to that, which Levy won't sanction unless funds/wages/space is freed up by selling VDV.

Borko Krunic? I've already posted it a few pages back.

Not him, no idea if he has more than one but was lucky enough to meet the happy Brazilian at a game last year with this guy after they had a chat. Not even sure what this means (if it is him) but let's hope he's working on other brazilians' deals!

Here's to hoping tho

Niko - £6m
Charlie - £6.5m
Pienaar - £4.5m
Dawson - £9m
Bassong - £5.5m
TOTAL - £31.5m

I believe we bought Sig, Verts and Ade - £20m - out of our original transfer budget.

But you have to take out the 9 million for Dawson now that he is staying.

oooh Buzz Killington!!! Couldn't you have described it as "a triumphant looking small bald man standing outside spurs lodge next to some extremely impressive looking automobiles, of such stature that they are more than likely being used to ferry extremely important people about. The small bald man appeared almost directorial in his demeanor... The gentlemen he was meeting appeared cowed and resigned to defeat even before the meeting"........ That would have had '50 shades of grey'-like squeals of excitement behind keyboards all over the world... its all in how you sell it

I'm on my phone at work so couldn't type all that! Especialy as I shouldn't even have my phone on......

No. He's not staying. He will be going, I am sure of it. AVB is not likely to tell the press at a conference that he feels Dawson is not good enough for his plans.

someone on the twittery place mentioned the guy by the door could be m'vila

As for the other guy being Sandro's uk agent, Is it likely that another Brazilian player without a uk based agent has spoken to Sandro and Sandro has set them up with his agent to deal with us??

Agree, most likely Ledley, but also look a little bit like Yann M'Vila.

The original poster on COYS says it is definitely not Ledley. He is also adamant that the small bald man is Levy. He is still outside the Lodge and will post any more developments.

It shows the spurs lodge with cars parked and a man standing in white at the door with no hair that could or could not be levy.

that person is also holding a phone and taking a picture of the person in the porsche. so it is not Levy and more likely a fan taking that pic.

Not in a million years it that Levy, and unfortunately if Sandro's speaking to his agent - which is what ryantegan believes - that might very well be the case, but it doesn't mean much, now, does it? He can be representing someone else, and he can just be having a chat with his client. He would probably be an expensive and over-qualified interpreter.

All the ITK, though, does indicate plenty of activity, which can only be a good thing..
