Can't see Oscar as a Modric replacement at 20 years old and we weren't gonna buy him and Moutinho for a combined total of £50m so as long as we get Moutinho I'm not as fussed by Oscar - never seen him play and I'm sure plenty on here haven't. It's Drogba who needs replacing for them and I'm confident as things stand we'll finish above them this season.

From the Journo's ITK and what JJ tweeted earlier about 'tictacs' (an anagram of tactics) it looks like we're playing a waiting game with Lyon. Levy will wait until they blink on the price and if they take too long about it he'll go elsewhere, which is probably where Ceasar comes into it...

This was written by a gooner.

"having massively overspent on players and wages in a desperate attempt to compete with us, Man Utd and Liverpool."

I was wondering as the rant would mean that Chelsea et al were competing with us in 2002/03 onwards and this team was only marginally better than any team with Justin Edinburgh.

Didn't Jj allude to higuain in some tweets, around his nickname. Something about a pipe dream? He is certainly world class

Don't ever let a Chelsea fan try and tell you to stop going on about the money, that it's not about that and that you're just bitter.

Of course it's about the f**king money. It's ALL about the money.

The month Abramovich arrived they were on the brink of bankruptcy, unable to make their next debt repayment due to years of financial mismanagement, having massively overspent on players and wages in a desperate attempt to compete with us, Man Utd and Liverpool.

The Russian paid off their £90 million debt immediately and has subsequently pumped a billion (some say almost two) pounds of his dubiously earned money into the club on transfers, obscene wages and bonuses, infrastructure and the poaching and paying off of a succesion of managers. The financial mismanagement has continued on a massive scale. It's just that they can get away with it now because of the dirty Russian.

The argument that all successful clubs including Spurs have bought success is bogus. We have only spent the money we've earned and what we have spent is a tiny fraction of their obscene outlay. They have had it handed to them on a plate as a gift for nine years now. Even Man Utd's massive spending in the past was funded from a position of enormous income.

Every trophy they have won since Abramovich took control has been bought by him. Every Chelsea fan would have cringed when Abramovich lifted that trophy because they all know in their hearts that it really is HIS trophy. He had every right to lift it because he paid for it.

So Chelsea fans it IS all about the money. You don't f**king deserve the success that it has bought you. You are the luckiest club in the history of football. And that's not bitterness, it's just fury and hatred.

And while we're on the subject...

There are many reasons to despise Chelsea Football Club.

The fans - be they plastic glory-hunters or neanderthal nazis singing songs about killing jews and gas chambers and disrespecting minute's silences for Hillsborough victims. I have witnessed groups of them on trains racially abusing passengers and staff, singing "Hitler was a Blue, he gassed the ******* Jews" and spitting, belching, farting and generally wallowing in being animals, utter subhuman scum. And let's not forget how fickle and disloyal they are. The week before their "Saviour" Mourinho was sacked CFC played a Champions League match in front of a half-empty Stamford Bridge. Home attendances in the 80s and even the 90s were frequently under 10,000.

The captain - a shameless, classless Chav who racially abuses opponents, abuses 9/11 victims, shags teammates girlfriends, parks in disabled parking bays, urinates on night club floors, kicks, pulls, knees, elbows and generally fouls and cheats his way through games, etc etc etc..

The other obnoxious, cheating mercenaries in their ranks including Cashley Cole and now the biggest mercenary in football today.

Their "history" - they were formed as a business idea rather than a football club. The ground was bought and then the players were poached from existing clubs. No gradual development of a works or factory team or social/athletic club like other clubs. Before the Russian they had one league title to their name with with the lowest points total ever, the only major trophy they won before 1970!) and a few cups. Reknowned for being flash, cocky and aggressive with odious, notoriously violent, racist fans to match.

With over a £1b spent they still play shit football and cant even fill their ground.

The semi final against us in another example of how shit their support is. Empty seats everywhere. Big club? Dont make me laugh.

For all these reasons and more Chelsea truly are the scum of the football world and this is exactly my view on the most HATED club in the country.

Altogether now...

WE HATE CHELSEA!
Some people will go to extreme lengths to try and prove they are not a Chelsea fan ;£

Didn't Jj allude to higuain in some tweets, around his nickname. Something about a pipe dream? He is certainly world class
A while back, someone said:

@jetsetyid Will do. So Higuin eh? Pipedream?

The reply was: @etchedchaos Smoking Pipes! dream

This was a vague answer which got people guessing. Then a few days later, he said about strikers:

"Take 1 out and add another 2.......Good night!! #putthatinyourpipeandsmokeit"

The reference to pipes again got some people very excited. I actually think Higuain is more realistic than Benzema, though still very unlikely.

I agree. As much as I hate Arsenal with a passion, there's always respect between rivals. They've earned their successes and have played some good football over the years. Chelski on the other hand, have bought their successes...and have played some shockingly bad, negative football. The fans are also appalling and hugely detestable.

I have ZERO respect for Chelski, and like I said in the Twitter thread - actually wish complete annihilation, bankruptcy, and destruction on them as a club, I'd love for them to not exist.

From the owner to the players to the fans. All of them are a disgrace

With regards to the JJ 8.25 earlier, he just said:

@Beats1989 Sandro is a 9!!

Cryptic clue, or (probably) simply a normal tweet?

Sandro has 9 international caps. Anyone have 8.25?? ;)

a bloke from up the road won the lottery a couple of years ago...... at the time i thought "oooh you jammy git!".... He drives around in a car that would make a pimp shudder and shake his head at the 'blingyness' (is that even a word) ....... The point being it aint classy ..... but do i hate him? No obviously i dont, why would i? Its not moral high ground its just not worth the waste of energy. Grass aint greener as they say.. Chelsea??? dont hate em, dont feel anything about em.......Manyoo i respect what they have become from mediocrity, arsenal again cant argue with them wanting to play good football, Man City have bourne the brunt of uniteds dominance for so long that they deserve a few days in the sun.....chelsea have spent their billions and mugged their way to a champions league win, boring barcelona to a defeat in the process...... As some have said already they have a roster of high profile, highly egotistical players on top dollar all trying to get a game....it aint gonna work.....spurs versus chelsea this year could have chelsea fielding a midfield of hazard, marin, oscar plus god knows who else? fair enough there is flair there but tell ya what ...spurs should field livermore, sandro and parker or kaboul against them.... work and tackle em into the ground and dont see many 50/50's going the blue way do you?

You know when you had a really big cut and you picked at the scab....eventually it heals and the first bit of scab comes off without the cut bleeding, just pink scar tissue below...its like a wierd little victory....Another week passes and the last bit of scab comes off un-noticed and unheralded....that last bit of scab is how i feel about chelsea, disinterested. But hatred? Nah dont think so!

I think it is higuin and 8.25 is his wages and price... 8m euros/ year which is 120k/week and 25m euros fee. I have no evidence apart from wishful thinking and the posts earlier on this page that jj means higuin

8.25 suggests Moutinho and Muller to me (their respective squad numbers).

I hate Chelsea total bunch of ****s but no point getting chip on our shoulder about them, we have an exciting young squad, progressive young manager, world class training ground, soon to be world class stadium, new investment a possibility, we have just thrashed them in the league table despite all their mafia millions

We are on the verge of something special so no point looking in our rear view mirror at those bellends
