This Moutinho thing has come from nowhere and opened everything up again. Journalist and others maintain he's the only one AVB wants. Going to be mad rumours now, particularly with Porto doing this 24 hours before window closes!

Everton do not have Levys deadline day skills. Come on Danny Boy, let's do the deal

So you guys would subside the crys for a striker if we got Moutinho?

Interesting conundrum.

Would we take the hit and risk rest of season with Defoe/Ade/Dempsey to secure Moutinho?

Best we can possibly hope for;

Out: Bentley Jenas Livermore (QPR), Gomes (some brazilian team) and Huddlestone (Fulham 6m) Total 10m and 120k per week saved on wages

In: Diame 4m, Negredo 14m. Total 18m 100k per week

That would be the NASL combine and means he would be allocated to a team in one of their southern cities. This makes it too far for me to travel for a good joke.
Yeah that sounds right to me. Shame, if only you could have had that enjoyment

Harry is more than likely to keep QPR up and financially that is good. BUT they will pay for it by being landed with a lot of older, expensive players and will live to regret it. £10m for Samba! I would expect the waltz, rumba, twist, stomp, charleston and more for that price

just read on twitter that now porto own all of morts and could sell

dont shot me

João Ruela@joao_ruela
FC Porto bought more 15% of João Moutinho's economic rights and now owns 77,5%. FC Porto already invested €17,3M on him.

So Moutinho still has 3rd party investors - just one less than before !

Does anybody know if Porto intended to do this, or has this literally come right out of the blue?

Is it a sign they are paving the way for a sale - or was a formality from their end?

Whats the total cost that Porto paid for Mou? I read its somewhere at EUR 17M. If we bid EUR 22M, I think it could still happen.

QPR's dressing room must be an absolute horror show right now if Redknapp is relying on Jenas and Bentley to be his henchmen.

It's like Adam leaving the Garden of Eden and teaming up with the snake 'cos he knows what he'll get with him'.

not sold on Negredo, but he has scored more goals than defoe in a league which is on par with our own. And i like others have said I would rather Everton didnt sign him while we are stuck with Defoe

Or, the Moutinho thing could be, Porto buying total ownership so that the investors don't suddenly decide they want to sell their % of him when AVB comes calling, thus meaning Porto are slightly more inclined to deal. Owning 100% means they can hold onto him until summer where they sell for more
