I think Levy is holding it up just to make Real take down their stupid 'unveiling stage'.

He's going to appear on said stage this evening, drop his trousers and shout 'UNVEIL THIS' before telling them that they can have Bale but only after they erect a statue of Levy in the centre circle of the Bernabeu.

Bad gags out of the way, I just wanted to say thanks to all on here who help make it such an easy place to lose way too much time every day. Those who post their own regular ITK, those who stumble upon the odd nugget through random meetings, those who whore relentlessly from other sites and all the other wits and raconteurs (seriously!) who make me chuckle at work or at home often enough that it draws suspicious glances from colleagues or my wife, all of whom most likely assume I'm looking at something far more unsavoury (such as Manwhore Mansion , or A&C's latest threat to persistent spammers ).

This is about my 7th or 8th window since discovering SC and it's been the craziest one of the lot. We've had the usual , but oddly this time lots of and . It's a weird and unusual feeling but I think I like it. We'd best enjoy it - I'm not sure we'll have another window like this one for a few more years. It's not been perfect, but it's exceeded my expectations already. If we wrap up Eriksen, Lamela and Crich Chiririrch Crh Vlad, I'll be very content, even assuming Bale goes. Coentrao would be the icing on the cake. For the first time, I'll be able to enjoy the final couple of days of the window with hope of a potential surprise or two (and a chuckle when Arsenal re-sign Henry again), rather than thinking "God I hope _________ signs, otherwise we're too light up front/in the middle/at the back".

Best ITK of the window so far was Wishkah's, giving us waaaay too much information about a particularly heavy night out

I think some people may not want to read or care about if and how much people have donated and don't understand why people feel the need to announce it everytime they do.

I'm sure that he could request to leave international duty to complete the signing (if required)..

Yeah, I don't get the 'Levy is holding it up to stop them selling to Arsenal', surely RM could accept bids and allow players to negotiate so that it just needs signing off if/when the Bale transfer goes through?

I can understand delaying bale until Saturday evening so that any new RM players at Arsenal wouldn't be registered in time for the derby, but not until Monday...

I would love the scenario to be
