yes because Roma announced Lamela has been sold, whereas Ajax have not announced Eriksen is sold.

Hope that's the case! Potentially something to do with Roma being a publicly owned company etc etc.

Interestingly, Eriksen is still featured on the Ajax website, whereas Lamela has been removed. Perhaps this is some insight into the status of the deal...or Ajax' IT nerds are just slow!

We were about to sanction a £30 million transfer for Willian, we have the money for Lamela.

I just cannot see what everyone is talking about that this makes it less probable that arse will sign someone from RM. They can have the deal agreed long before Bale is transferred. RM can put a clause that if Bale does not come then the deal is off. And if I remember correctly they will get some extra hours to do paperwork if the clubs can show that an agreement has been met(moutinho)

That would be way to risky for Wenger and wouldn't give him time for alternatives in case the Bale deal slipped up. I'd like to think that non of the RM players will want to go there anyway.
