Out of the 23 people who gave my chadli post a neg rep cans I ask how many of you went to 46 or more games last season and watched him do fuck all in every single one bar the benfica away game?

Blokes a winger who offers nothing and if anyone can tell me he done anything impressive then wow

I'd suggest no one apart from you went to 46 games and saw him do nothing...

oh and incidentally, i really think the stewards should face the pitch rather than the crowd...

I think you may have been confusing Nacer Chadli for Aaron Lennon.

The Times understand Mauricio Pochettino is due to meet technical director Franco Baldini on Monday to discuss transfer targets.

Very excited about this meeting, and will have some donations ready to go even for some ITK pertaining to players at obvious positions of need.

Is it not possible to defend Chadli without criticising a player who's been a loyal servant to the club for the past 9 years? Apparently not, my bad.

All I said was that apparently he didnt watch Aaron Lennon this year(because, lets be honest, he was our worst player this season) and that he may be confusing the 2. Are we not allowed to criticize someone for being terrible if they've been at the club a long time? That's proposterous.
Chadli was probably our best winger this year seeing as Lamela barely played and Lennon and Townsend were both useless(no I do not count Eriksen as a winger even though Tim played him on the left).

Anyway, not the thread for this debate.

Let me help you here...

Zabeleta
Ivanovic
Coleman
Sagna

All better defensively, and actually contribute goals and assists unlike Walker.

Actually, look at the stats over the last 4 years (since Walker started playing in the EPL). Non of the names you mentioned have more assists. Zabeleta has only scored 1 more goal, Ivanovic has scored much more than the rest but I bet most were headers from corners and Walker has more assists. Coleman has 10 goals 4 of which were from right wing and 6 came this season.Walker has done better in less games than Sagna in goals and assists.

Also, look at how the others did at 24. Coleman has 2 more assists but 1 less goal but Walker out performed the others on goals and assists (marginally).

Walker:
2013/14 P23 G1 A3
2012/13 P36 G0 A5
2011/12 P37 G2 A1
2010/11 P16 G1 A3
Total P112 G4 A12

Zabeleta:
2013/14 P35 G1 A7
2012/13 P30 G2 A2
2011/12 P21 G1 A0
2010/11 P26 G1 A3
Total P112 G5 A12
When 24 P29 G1 A2

Ivanovic
2013/14 P36 G3 A1
2012/13 P34 G3 A1
2011/12 P29 G5 A1
2010/11 P34 G4 A5
Total P133 G15 A8
When 25* P16 G0 A1
*Can't get stats from when he was 24 as he was in the Russian league.

Coleman
2013/14 P36 G6 A2
2012/13 P26 G0 A5 (4 games at Right Wing)
2011/12 P18 G0 A0 (All but 1 game from Right Wing)
2010/11 P34 G4 A3 (All but 1 game from Right Wing)
Total P114 G10 A10
When 24 P26 G0 A5

Sagna
2013/14 P35 G1 A4
2012/13 P25 G0 A0
2011/12 P21 G1 A3
2010/11 P33 G1 A3
Total P114 G3 A10
When 24 P38 G0 A3 (in France Ligue 1)

It's not the wrong currency sign, it's that he put £50, as in the single solitary note we all would love to whip out of our wallets on a night out, as opposed to £50 million, which is just a tad more...

No shit?

That's one way to put the argument to bed, good post. He's not perfect, makes the odd silly mistake, but a solid player and not a position we need to spend money on this summer.

FFS, this season was a disaster, Lloris and Eriksen aside, there was absolutely nothing to write home about.

So instead of criticising individuals, why don't you just support them? Lots of you are quick to bash the board and the players for all that is wrong at the club, without looking at yourselves and the negative atmosphere you've created. White Hart Lane is practically a graveyard now.

You'd think that now we have an exciting new manager, and new found optimism, we'd actually be pulling in the same direction, but unsurprisingly, we've still got those fans who are predicting a disaster under Poch, and slamming individual players for no reason whatsoever.

They are what is wrong with this Club.

Funtime Friday can't begin until the end of Thoroughly Tawdry Thursday :(

Remember the good old days when we were happy about a new manager coach

I've never seen Ricardo Rodriguez play but he's pretty good on FM and Youtube so I wouldn't be against it.
