Naaw, I'll be sad to see Tony go but it's only natural for Pochettino to bring in his own coaches. And it's not like he'll struggle for work.

Gutted seeing Parksy leave, someone will surley benefit from poaching up Ramsey and Parks.

£20 on its way.
A new member with seventeen messages and he makes a £20 donation! That has got to be worth a pile of reps!

Edit: on closer inspection, he's about as new as I am, but still, a bloody decent lurker donation nonetheless! ;)

I like Freund but how come he is so highly thought of within the club by the hierarchy that they want to keep him so badly
Anyone that is taking Sherwood's 'technical director' job is great news. Lessens the chances of him returning in his previous role. I bet the crafty get will still find his way into the set up somewhere 12/18 months down the line though.

Sad to see Parks go but good in the sense that Poch is getting who he wants in.

Does anyone know if Parks son made it through his accident? It went all quiet after the first week or so, I didn't hear anything, hope he and his family are ok.

Anyone know what the fuss on twitter is about regarding Baldini in Barca?

Several accounts tweeting that something "HUGE" in the set up at spurs is changing.

Obviously some rumour is circulating but it's all very hint hint wink wink.

No idea who any of Poch's backroom staff are, Freund is Spurs through & through so would love for him to stay. I will donate e/o week when paid. Wonder if any "new" ITK's will pop up now we've got a totally new coaching team in place (& how many of the old school ITK's will fade away like A&C's recollection of that night on the magic mushrooms with Ermingtrude from the Magic Roundabout & the tub of lard)

Freund has a serious international youth coaching record - see below. That's proper stuff, and much higher than club level. I'd hope the club would do their best to keep someone with that experience whoever they were.

At the same time, he will possibly be the only person left on the coaching staff with a "Spurs background", with knowledge of our current players especially our up and coming youngsters, and a feel for the club in general. That would be an asset and would compliment the incoming all-new Poch coaching team. If there is no continuity at all, Poch would be the weaker for it I think.

Really hope they keep Steffen for all these reasons.

from wikipedia (yes, I know…)
On 1 September 2007, Freund was appointed assistant head-coach of the German U-20 team. On 5 December 2007, he was named as a new assistant to Nigeria coachBerti Vogts for the time of the African Nations Cup. He then resumed his work as assistant to German U20-manager Frank Engel. In May 2009 he finished his coaching badges and on 17 July 2009 he was appointed manager of the German U-16 team signing a two-year contract.[2] A year later he began managing the German U-17 team leading them to a runners up medal at the 2011 UEFA European U-17 Football Championship and a third place at the World Cup in Mexico. He then started working with the new generation of U-16 players.

I agree our coaching situation needs stabilizing, I don't see any reason why Ramsey and Parks can't be kept on as they are both highly rated coaches. If we kept a handful of coaches, no matter who the manager, then this could help players adjust to a new system and they still have people to go to if they have trouble with the new man or system. I like the idea of having a handful of former Spurs players as coaches because they can show to new players what playing for Spurs is and what it should mean to them. Players should look up to former players, their predecessors and play for them and play for Spurs.
