What would you prefer one player on wages of £100,000 a week or three players on £35,000 a week? I think I know what Levy would prefer. I'd guess that Pochettino might have a different opinion.
It's not really that simple though, is it. We've already seen with Ade and Soldado that it's not easy to move on high earners if they're not doing well enough. It's no surprise on the other hand that we can move on lower earners like Sigurdsson, Livermore and Caulker for nearly £25mill combined. We've not had much ITK or rumours to suggest we are after high earners because of this problem, in my opinion.
