At least we've managed to keep hold of Lloris and Vertonghen, who I hope we will announce him signing a new deal shortly.

Also, I'm glad we didn't part co pay with Chiriches and if Dembele can find his mojo again then he is still a fantastic talent.

It's always the hope that kills you in transfer windows but we've got an awful lot to look forward to and for Poch to bring out the best in what we have coupled with maybe a few more promising youngsters blossoming in Cebellos and Veljkovic.

Chin up lads!

So much for the pre-approved overdraft that was meant to give us more chances of signing players over rival clubs.

No, thats an investment, nothing to do with the bods playingbthe football. Anyway when this stadium does get bult, how many of us are gonna be able to afford to watch a competetive match inthe poxy thing?!! FFS, I havent been able to afford to go for years!!!

£25 for a cup game is hardly a lot. A season ticket is not that much more than an annual gym membership in some cases.

I would not be so angry if our rivals hadn't splashed the cash and strengthened but every single one that finished above us and the one that finished directly below us have upgraded massively while we have at best stood still and at worst regressed

Our rivals are Swansea, Newcastle now for 7th place instead of our rivals being Liverpool and Arsenal for 4th

It is a totally unacceptable situation and a rightful cause of anger

Everton upgraded massively? Their one big buy was already there on loan last season - nearly £30m to tread water. We'll probably still be competing with Everton for 6th and chomping at the heels of 5th, which is about right given our resources.

Bring on January.

Bring on Sunderland on the 13th. You get three points for winning football games, not "winning" the transfer window.

We haven't lost a Bale, we haven't lost a Modric and we haven't lost a Berbatov. We've lost a handful of squad players, players that big teams haven't been sniffing about because they are not good enough for the big teams.

Surgery is no fun

This summer has been about clearing out players, we've covered positions but nothing too exciting. Better sized squad

Time for the likes of Soldano and Paulino to prove something

Don't agree mate.

Even Chadli was saying it was like three number tens interchanging behind the striker.

Sig and Holtby are a lot more suited than Lennon and Townsend.

(although I'm glad we kept Lennon)

If Sig and Holtby were the answer fuck knows what the question was. Holtby willing but lacking real quality on the ball. Siggy was always lightweight and down the pecking order. NEITHER were good enough ultimately.

I'm not a huge fan of either Lennon or Townsend but they offer something different which is pace and directness and at times we'll need both.

Time for you to back the manager Pinky - I doubt he's as upset as you are if JJ tells it right about the smaller squad. And no one has left who he didn't want to leave, of that I'm sure...

There is a difference between selling players and replacing them with players you perceive to be an 'upgrade' on them for a similar price, and buying players who will improve the squad, then recouping what ever you can get back from players who are then deemed surplus to requirements.

I'm convinced all Daniel Levy cares about is our net spend. So frustrating.

Just hijack the Huntelaar deal please

If Wenger is offering him 90k a week offer him 110k

We need a signing that gives us a shot at CL

Bye bye beast, been a blast. Not the same player though.

Poch will complete his vision for the squad next summer. This season will weed out the remaining weaknesses and set the foundation for our 'new way'.

Chin up folks, we'll be ok. Enjoy watching our gradual transformation into a fighting FORCE.
